We stayed in this apartment with our 2 children this summer. As the previous reviewer stated, the apartment is on the first row so just down a few stairs and you're at the pool. The was ideal as there was no need to pack a bag just to head to the pool, everything we needed was just a few steps away. The apartment itself was very well equipped and very modern. You could order fresh bread on a daily basis to be delivered the following morning, and there was also a small mobile shop which visited approximately twice a week. Makrigialos itself had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday, an abundance of very reasonable restaurants along the seafront, a lovely sandy beach and plenty if local shops. All in all, this was a beautiful holiday destination in an unspoilt area of Crete.

This apartment is placed by one of the pools with great availability to both of the pools. We travelled with 3 children and it was so nice to relax at the porch and have full control of the children in the pool at the same time.
The apartment is equiped with all you need and is based perfectly just outside Makrigialos within short distance of "everything"; Makrigialos city beach, Diaskari, Sitia, The Dragons Cave, etc. etc..
Both owner of the apartment, and the managers at the Bayview Resort was so helpful and service-minded before and during the stay, there was nothing that could not be solved. Fresh bread and other groceries was brought to the resort twice a week and just a few metres away was a local tavern with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Perfect, looking forward to visit again next summer.
