There are a lots of rooms in Trapani, but Novecento is a really good choise. The location is strategic: halfway between the center, the sea and Erice.
The room is big and confortable and very clean. The best is the breakfast: local products and very rich.
the owner Ignazio is very nice . He heped us a lot.

Me and my girlfriend we stayed there for two nights and everything was fine and clean. Beds were really comfortable and actual room was kind of surprise - luxury ceiling and beautiful floor. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful and nice. We definitely recommend this place and we enjoyed every minute in the B&B. Bikes are also available for deposit which is very helpful.

We were warmly welcomed in Trapani by Novecento B&B's host, who prepared fine vegetarian breakfast every morning, which included a selection of delicious croissants, fresh fruit, bread and cheese, all locally sourced.
Bikes were also available to rent, the old town centre was a 30 minute walk, and the nearest beach was a 10 minute stretch from the B&B.
We had a really pleasurable stay :)

I stayed here in April for nearly 2 weeks and, by the end of that time, I was a little sad to leave as I had become quite comfortable and it felt a little like home.

Novecento B&B is very airy and fairly grand with period furniture, flooring and antique beds. The bed was firm and comfortable without pillows or duvet and is even more comfortable later in the evening after all the walking you will do.

The place is a little distance from the main tourist parts of town and only about 10 mins away from the Aeroporto bus, but the position makes it ideal to not stick to the main paths and explore. It is in a place that is very easy to find from anywhere in the city, as there are many landmarks in all directions (Mt.Erice helps navigation both day and night from and to anywhere in the city, it seems).

The facilities are good, and I think the shared ones are nicer than the private ones. The towels are great.
My friend was stitched up by a place he had booked and ended up phoning me at midnight with nowhere to stay, so he stayed with us for the night and, in the morning, Ignazio fixed him up with a room for his time there. My friend was also very happy with the place and the hospitality. He asked Ignazio many questions and they were all answered thoroughly and patiently.
His room was probably quieter because it was off the main road, but i liked to listen to the sounds of the street at night and for it to be like an alarm clock in the morning.

The water in Trapani is delivered only every 2 days and stored in tanks. This means that the pressure may be a little lower, and that it's probably not a good idea to drink from the tap (tho i did anyway) - however, bottled water from the local Spar shop is very cheap. You have to go the other way from the busy parts of town for that though - it's just around the corner with loads of flower markets and stalls and interesting stuff and PEPOLI PIZZA! which is the best pizza place in Trapani.

If breakfast is not enough for you, because some people like to eat a lot in the morning (it is very tasty croissants and cheese and bread and OJ and coffee (and you are allowed to smoke away from the table if you want, with your coffee) - there are some great cafes right outside that have good snacks for elevenses and to pack for later.
The place also has a computer you can use, with an internet connection.

The weather is pretty good that time of year - some rain and winds but mostly sun - so we were able to eat breakfast outside every day but one. The other people who stayed at the same time were mid 20's and were pleasant, although it seemed they may have been more demanding of Ignazio's service.

It is not so much a B&B, I think, as Ignazio letting you stay in part of his family home. It contains much history, like the TV set which is almost as old as the other items on display. I do not like to watch TV and it would probably be in Italian anyway. There are books and DVDs you can borrow.

As a host, Ignazio is very accommodating, helpful, friendly and is forthcoming if you treat him as a person instead of a concierge.

Our experience with this B&B was purely positive! Nice cosy beds, tasty breakfast, good location (even though you had to do a bit of walking to the center/coast, but I suppose it would've been very fast with the bikes that are offered for free at the place)!

Ignazio, the owner, is extremely humble and polite and was very helpful when we needed advice on travelling in and around Trapani. He kindly provided us with a guidebook on Italy when we decided to travel to the East of Sicily for a few days.

The breakfast, even though it was vegetarian and we're not, was super delicious, just enough and made from local products only (which, believe me, are VERY tasty and fresh). The croissants with pistachio cream are worth fighting over, they are probably my best food memory from Sicily and I often miss them.

The "scary dogs" that someone mentioned in their review belong to Ignazio, they were actually really friendly and they were only allowed to walk in the garden so they wouldn't disturb any of the guests. Actually, one of the biggest advantages of this place is that you can stay there with your pet!

The noise from the main street in the morning was actually a good substitution for an alarm because we never wanted to miss breakfasts and wanted to start the day early. If you want a quiet morning, however, it's better to take a double en suite room facing the terrace.

The facilities at the place were pretty good. There are 2 bathrooms, both having shower cabins. It was more than enough to accommodate all the guests. Most people arrive with their own laptops, I suppose, but we had to use the computer a lot and the Internet was pretty fast and stable. The cleaning lady was pretty amiable. You can ask her for a hairdryer and an iron and you don't need to pay for either.

Most people who stay at the B&B seem to be couples, they are usually quite lovely and interesting and easy to make friends with, so take advantage of your breakfasts to make new friends. I also suggest taking over the big table in the living room if you decide to have a night in. Get some strong Sicilian wine and interesting conversation topics with fellow B&B guests are guaranteed!

Room Tip: double en suite room facing the terrace is quieter
