The staff in the lobby and restaurant were not only unhelpful but very rude. They cancelled our breakfast booking and made us pay (again) for it. When we did, the employee overseeing the breakfast put us at a table as far away from the food as possible. Food was cold, except for fried eggs, toast and pancakes. We ended up not eating breakfast at the hotel.
The employee working the lobby refused to help us book a shuttle or taxi to the airport, and simply told us to take a bus (our flight was early in the morning, so there were no buses that early) instead, and heavily implied that we were bothering him by asking.
Cleaning staff was lovely and did a great job. Decent room, uncomfortable pillow but nothing horrible. Decent location, about a 20 minute walk to get to a more active part of the city.
Random observation: the elevators are anxiety inducing. They shake, make weird noises and are pretty cramped. My friend whom I was there with is not claustrophobic, and neither am I, but we both found the elevators very creepy.
Overall, I would not go to this hotel again. The staff working the lobby and restaurant are unpleasant and could really use some customer service training.More
