Where do I start.... very basic hotel, rooms need refurbishing very tatty and old. The bathrooms have been done up though which is a start. The walls are paper thin so was woken up early every day by our very loud neighbours.
The all inclusive package is a joke, drinks cards needed, room key needed all for a drink. The quality of the drinks is not good either, ordered a pinacolada and I’m not sure what I was given but it was nothing like a pinacolada. The food was poor at best and would not give it to my cat! We went out as much as possible and to be honest we aren’t fussy eaters. wouldn’t go back!!

the hotel looks fine. its big and wide. but the service is awful!!! if you pay the extra price you get a brace to put on your hand. if you have it on you.. you can drink water!! if you dont have it with you, you cant drink any water or juice in the cafeteria. the service of the staff (especially the helpdesk)

The meals where good as you had a choice. Rooms cosy and compact. Only snag is the place is too hustle and bustle, overrun with people and has not much charm like other places. About the bar you only allowed one drink at a time and take your glass back which is a low brainer. Would not visit again and little disappointment with excursions as you could see most of places.

My 3rd visit to Lloret De Mar in 4 years was a celebration. My stag do. There was only 4 of us in attendance, a nice small number which ensured activities and bookings were easily manageable, or so I thought. One was an addition to our original booking. Upon arrival at the hotel we were in high spirits due to the nature of the trip despite the farce with our transfer, one which we slightly caused ourselves.

Back to the hotel, we were greeted with not so many smiles, allocated our rooms and went on our way. I made a slight error in the booking and managed to book 3 adults in 1 room, not so much of a problem as we've shared rooms before and after all it's usually just somewhere to lay your head in the evening. Something that did prove a problem was only giving us one room key and told to return in the morning for 2 more, that was never going to work especially as you don't always stick together on nights out and that was exactly that, on returning to the hotel later in the night one of our party got a very angry receptionist when he said he didn't have a key.

On to the room. It would be a lovely spacious room for one single adult, how on earth there were 3 beds squashed into that room is a mystery, we couldn't have space at the side of our beds at all. Bathroom facilities simple but good enough, view shocking compared to the other side of the hotel. Our single group member managed to get himself a penthouse suite, or that's what it seemed, a balcony big enough to play football on and a lovely view towards the Fenals beach.

Food and drink - I've never been a fan of all inclusive food, that's just my opinion of it. I go AI usually for the drinks - Which was a pain. We have a wristband and a "glass card". It would appear that some people could go AI for food or drink or both. Much simplier to just be able to walk up to the bar and grab a couple of drinks then chill by the pool, something you couldn't do as you was only allowed one drink, per ten minutes! So by the time you had finished descending down Everest (the pool was at the bottom of a rather steep set of steps, or a disabled ramp that would under no circumstances pass building regulations in England) you would have finished your drink but we not allowed another straight away, nor allowed two.

Location - Can't really knock the location too much. Bit of a hill to stumble back up after hitting the strip.

This hotel is certainly not English friendly, unless we hit it at a bad week. Entertainment in either Spanish or French so we couldn't join in, a rare English accent was heard every now and then.
