We booked a two bedroom cabin which upon arrival looked great. Unfortunately upon entering we were overwhelmed with a strong smell of mould. I turned the ceiling fans off and noticed the smell wasn't quite as bad and then noticed the reason why. There was acqua coloured mould growing on all the blades of the fans. I went complain to the manager and while gone my husband cleaned the mould off the fans which I was upset about as mould can be dangerous. I requested to be moved and unfortunately there was only a small cabin with no bathroom facilities which my husband refused to take. Even after the mould was removed the place still stunk. I think the smell was even in the air conditioner. Needless to say I did not enjoy my stay and couldn't wait to leave the next morning. One other thing to note about these cabins is that they have two massive bedrooms, a basic walk through kitchen with microwave,no table or chairs and no couch or sitting area inside. The only area to eat, sit and talk is all outside which doesn't cut it if you want to eat breakfast without being eaten alive by bugs and under some decent lighting or if u feeling like relaxing at night with a book other than in bed. Instead of a massive bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower plus bath they should have created a sitting area.

We had a lovely two bedroom cabin which had large bedrooms, and a very large bathroom with an outdoor shower. Unfortunately the outdoor shower was not working but there was on also inside. Lovely verandah to sit on and have meals. Kitchen is small but adequate. Didn't like the frogs everywhere at night but you can't avoid them in the top half of Northern Territory. We were able to have a refreshing swim in their pool. There were also washing and drying machines behind the facilities block.

The park is nice and green but has a massive mosquito problem, u get bitten by them even in the amenities. The sprinklers are left on all night which makes puddles everywhere and keeps u up at night. The power sites closer to the amenities are very muddy and the grass sites means you have to walk at least 200m to the amenties. the staff were friendly but I wouldn't recommend this park.

We arrived here as refugees from the Litchfield Safari Camp. The two camp sites could not be any different. Litchfield Tourist Park was excellent. Our site was great, the amenities block was clean and well maintained. Having a restaurant and pool on site was a big bonus. The kids spent hours in the pool. Would recommend this place to any family who want accommodation close to Litchfield National Park.

The site is well kept and situated in typical beautiful Top End forest. However the cabins are uncomfortably small, especially the bathroom. They are not good value for the price requested. In my opinion the rooms could be cleaner, especially around the kitchen area. The restaurant/cafe' was not available as advertised.
