Low key set-up, offers basic needs, small swimming pool without any extra's like lounge beds, very close to park entrance, help&patient assistance not in abundance. Studio here is better value for money and cheaper than a lodge room at Kakadu Lodge, in Jabiru.

1/2 of the sites are well shaded and you get to choose your spot, so definitely recommend the spots closer to the pool. Trees provide good shade and respite from the sun. Absolutely no phone reception here, which is a nice change, but make sure you check maps, make bookings and any necessary phone calls etc before getting there.

Super dusty location in general, they do have sprinklers to suppress most of the kicked up dust, but anything you leave out will still get a fine red film over it.

Closest park to the NP, easy drive. Would stay again.

We stayed here one night and then moved on to another in the locality. Check-in was reasonably easy and we were told to drive around the camp and choose a site - we found one with shade quite close to a set of toilets. There are a number of toilet blocks in the camp, the one closest to us was quite poor, another one some distance away was quite good. WIFI was available at a fee but was slow satellite and we thought per 100Mb it was expensive. The camp is outside of the Telstra area unless you go to one particular spot which gets a weak signal. There is a kiosk and a cafe which seem reasonable, some bugs but not too many. We found the camp quite humid as compared to other places in the area - perhaps because they are trying to keep it green and water it a lot. Our main reasons for moving were that we felt there was no reason to stay and it was outside of the Telstra area.

Stayed for two nights in June while visiting Litchfield Park. Park amenities were tidy. Pool was nice and refreshing in the heat of the day. Staff were were able to answer any questions honestly regarding phone service etc. Had dinner there on one night food was very good. Only negative was the mosquitoes at night bring your insect repellant. Enjoyed our stay.

Yes there's mozzies. Yes there's flies. Yes it's dewy in the morning. Yes, the amenities are full of cobwebs....I prefer the cobwebs. ...they help catch the mozzies. Pool is simple and clean. Sites were good size. Great reception and bar area. Very limited phone service though. Stayed here 2 nights. We were very happy to use this place as our base for exploring Litchfield National Park.
