We dined at The Deck during a recent stay at 1770. We absolutely enjoyed everything about it; great food, beautiful service and pleasant bush surround setting. I thought it was reasonably priced especially so being BYO. Highly recommended. Will ensure we return when next in 1770 / Agnes Water.

Ate there on Wednesday night. Starter of onion bhaji was awesome, huge bowl of onion and tasty. That was great value. The table next to us had samosas which were the biggest I've ever seen.

The curries were nice but nothing to write home about. Strangely the fish curry was made with pieces of battered fish then put in a sauce.

Garlic naans were fabulous but there was a wait between delivery of them.

On the whole I would recommend without a question. They are only doing BYO at the minute but are supposed to be licensed.

We were staying at the caravan park in 1770 and were surprised that the resturant was Indian cuisine. We love indian food but had yet to find a decent Indian in Australia. This resturant was fabulous. The food was excellant. For all you Brits out there that miss a good curry you must try this if you come to 1770. Unfortunately its a six hour drive from Brisbane - a bit too far to come for a takeaway!! We will be back again

We arrived late at the Captain Cook Caravan Park and found the restaurant had just closed. I cheekily went around to the back door and found the staff enjoying their own dinner. They agreed to still make us a meal, instead of heading home, which we thought was very good srrvice!
And the food? Bloody delicious! Ok, so it wasn't cheap cheap, but who cares when it's really really good?!
Highly recommended!

My daughter and I stayed at the nearby camp ground ("Caravan Park") and it was very nice. This restraurant, offering Indian cuisine, had opened recently and was very good. The decor was a little too casual, but the food is what is all about. I recommend the lentils which were really authentic. Price was a little on the high side.
If you sit ouside (and why you wouldn't), ensure you use mosquito repellant on your legs and feet, because they will drill you!
