Company placed me in the motel, after reading reviews thought it was okay, what the heck working for a 2 week project. Was there 3-days Co Paid the wkly rate, surprised with room, very old, small, reminded of maybe 50's place, the toilet between the shower with pipes/plywood if Tall 180+ pounds you will have a experience trying to use the rest room. I noticed when turned on air the smell of smoke, I know have a hard time breath, said something was told I had 10 mins to get out. Never/Ever in all my traveling meet so aweful lady and man as these 2 running the motel. Please go to Dickson, ND 20 mins best lodging and Friendly people, it was very sad they acted this way, never understand

Room Tip: Best bet please driver to Dickinson, ND just down the road.

We booked this as we drove, calling rather than booking online, so it was cheaper than the online rates. Our room was clean and adequate - lots of little signs telling us where things are or how to run the AC, etc. The bathroom was clean too and we had plenty of towels.

The doors are on inside hallways which would make it even quieter but it's a sleepy little town so there's not much noise anyway.

The motel does not offer any kind of breakfast - muffins or even just bread for toast and a yogurt cup would be sufficient. Because of this, we had to eat at the Trapper's Kettle which cost more and took time.

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness! Great rate for the area. Rooms appear to be recently remodeled and decorated with western charm. 15 miles to Medora and 20 miles to Dickinson. Hidden gem in this area!

This is a quaint old-time motel that has been remodeled. The beds were comfortable and the unit spotless. While it might not be good for a long term stay, it is perfect for a couple of days. The rooms are well sound-proofed and the AC kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The only potential drawback is that the parking lot is gravel, making it difficult for wheeled suitcases (or a walker, etc) to traverse it. Price was much better than most of the other motel/hotels in the area.

This area is very remote and Medora and Belfield are the only places to stay unless you are camping. The Cowboy Inn was less than half the price of staying in Medore so we decided to take a change. The room was clean though somewhat spare but had the things we needed. After being out all day and eating a big lunch we were happy to be able to microwave something for dinner and rest up for the next day. Sound insulation between rooms was outstanding - we never heard our neighbors.

Room Tip: I suspect all the rooms are pretty much the same.
