This hotel is located across from the beach next to the free section, so no extortionate sun bed charges apply. It is on the quiet side of the resort and we'll away from club 18-30 bars, but near enough to the stalls and eateries.
The dining terrace overlooks the magnificent beach and is surrounded by lush gardens. All very beautiful. It is only a small charge for a sea view room, which is definitely worth it.
The hotel is in need of refurbishment, but this is reflected in the price and it is still comfortable as a base. It is filled with mainly eastern European guests, who are families, but all staff speak perfect English and they are very polite, friendly and helpful. However, be aware there are no British holidaymakers in the hotel or resort, it is very much for a young German crowd, and families.
The swimming pool inside and outside the hotel, though aged are like swimming in heaven, as the water is pumped in from a nearby hot spring with curative qualities. It is also pumped on to the beach, where holiday makers create a hot bath in the sand from it. All fun.
The hotel has a water therapy centre with treatments at very reasonable prices, reviews a fraction of uk. Though it's heyday was in the 60s, they were very good and would use again. We used to distress, but also for arthritis and skin disorders.
The real let down is the food, which is very low grade. I have always gone all inclusive and this is the only time I was not able to eat in the hotel. Food is so reasonable outside it wasn't a problem, but I would return to the hotel on a room only basis.
Overall a pleasant stay and would return for the great location.
