The review relates to the 2 nights/ 3 days spent at the hotel and to the past experiences in Golden Sands (Melia Grand Hermitage - 5 *, flawless, and lti Dolce Vita Sunshine Resort - also classified as 4* as Viva Club, but a very uninspired choice compared to Viva).
As a general impression, the hotel honors the 4 stars and the numerous prizes acquired over time.
ACCOMMODATION - room no. 707, superior double with sea view (bonus upgrade on behalf of the hotel). Very spacious room, immaculate linen, pillows and mattress of very good quality. Cleaning is done to the smallest detail. Air conditioning works perfectly, many international TV stations can be found on TV. The mini bar is free of charge and includes a bottle of 2l of water, 2 beer doses and 2 boxes of natural juice/ stay. Safety deposit box available for a fee. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious, it offers soap, shower gel, shower cap, hair dryer. Towels change every day, although I didn't place any on the floor to be changed. The balcony of the superior room is double that of the standard room, it has a table + 2 chairs and a clothes dryer.
ALL INCLUSIVE MEALS - in terms of variety and taste of preparations, I don't think anyone can ever complain. For BREAKFAST (07:30-10:00) there are 10 dishes of meat products, 10 kinds of cheese and yellow cheese, 3-4 kinds of olives, 6 salads and dressings, fresh vegetables, eggs (boiled, fried, scrambled, cheese french omelette), fried sausages (3 sorts), fried bacon, wursts, liver pate, beans, pancakes, 5 kinds of jam and chocolate equivalent Nutella, cereals, yoghurt, milk, croissants, pies and pastries (6 assortments), fried bread, donuts, fresh and dried fruits (10 assortments in total), tea, milk, coffee (espresso and filter, I recommend the latter), soft drinks (Coca-Cola range) and natural juices (RAUCH). LUNCH and DINNER (12:00-14:00 and 18:00-21:00) include 2 kinds of soup, 7-9 grilled or baked meat (chicken, turkey, duck, beef, pork, rabbit, lamb), fish and seafood, pasta, lasagna, pizza, 6 kinds of garnish (rice, potatoes, vegetables), 10-12 salad assortments, various desserts (cakes, mousses, cookies), fresh and dried fruits, ice cream (5 assortments), coffee, juices (natural and soft drinks), water, wine, beer (Beck's). For babies, fruit purees (4 assortments) are provided. All products are delicious, of good quality and enough quantity. All beverages are at the dispenser, but they also are of good quality. Meals can be served either in the main restaurant or on the terrace by the pool. Breakfast can be continued at the Snack Bar after 10:00. Snack Bar is also open between meals and provides grilled meat dishes, pizza, garnishes, salads, desserts, ice cream. The bars (Lobby Bar 08:00-00:00 and Pool Bar 10:00-23:00) offer coffee, juices, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, wine, beer.
SERVICES - all staff is well prepared and trained to offer quality services to tourists. Fast check-in and check-out, thorough cleaning, table clean-up and service (a la carte restaurant) very prompt, very friendly bartenders. I want to highlight the professionalism shown by the receptionists - they are very nice, smiley, manage quickly and correctly any problem of the client. The fitness room is quite small, equipped with 10 appliances, and access is free of charge. Sauna is free of charge only 1h/person for minimum 7 nights stay. Otherwise, all the services of the SPA center (sauna, jacuzzi, massage) are offered for a fee. Parking is free and guarded; there are areas where it packs 3 rows, so you may be called to move your car. But there is the same problem at Grifid hotels, and there parking costs 20 leva/day... . The swimming pool is clean and tidy, the sunbeds, mattresses and towels are in good condition.
The animation team is committed to offering diverse and interactive activities throughout the day. For free transportation to the hotel's private beach (Mirage Beach, located in front of the Luna Hotel), there's a Shuttle Bus (not minibus, as mentioned in other reviews) that runs 30 to 30 minutes starting 09:00 o'clock, with a lunch break. It can also be accessed by car, but it is very difficult to find a parking space. Any car left elsewhere than in the public parking or that doesn't have a receipt showing the parking fee is picked up. Snacks (10:00-15:30) and beverages (10:00-16:30) are served at the Beach Bar.

To conclude with, I totally recommend this hotel and I think it can easily meet the expectations and requests of most tourists. Good value for money.

Room Tip: Best rooms offering large views over the Black Sea are on the 7th and 8th level.

Quite good hotel for Golden Sands, where most hotels are old and tired and minority is ever been properly renovated.
Standrad room is quite small, but enough space to feel comfy. Main problem for me (as I am very sensivtive to all kind of smells, especially chemicals) were the cleaning products that were used for cleaning, as they all were with very strong smell that I just couldnt handle, especially in the staircase.
Food was fine, they were trying to do different theme evenings, which were quite good.
A huge bonus of the hotel is private beach. Shuttle bus had a good schedule so we got easy to the beach and from the beach. Public beach is really expensive.
In general quite good hotel for the money you pay.

Me and my girlfriend spent 3 lovely days in this hotel. On arrival, the hotel staff helped us park our car in their free parking. The hotel staff also helped us with the luggage inside the hotel. Once we entered the hotel, we were directly served a welcome coctail, which made extremely good impression. On the reception - we were served by extremely polite girl - our reservation was there and she explained absolutely everything - food, bars, private beach, other stuff we can take advantage on. We got a lovely superior room on the 7th floor with sea view. They took our luggage straight to it. It was loaded with bottled water, was extremely clean and good looking. Like noone slept in there, prior us. The terrace was big and room had plenty of space itself. The bathroom was very clean as well and pretty big itself. Obviously was new or recently renovated in full.
The hotel is around 5 minutes from the public beach, which is so expensive that it's not worth it. However, luckily it has it's own private beach. There is a shuttle bus to the beach in every 20-30 minutes (you will be given a timetable on reception), big enough to take everyone. You can have lunch / snack on the beach as well. Also all-inclusive bar. There was more than enough space on the beach for everyone. Same on the pool - no need to wake up at 4 to reserve your spot, as other hotels in this area. You also get free towels for the beach and the pool.
There is a great snack bar, opened after 10AM, up to 4-5PM, which offers all kinds of food. The snack bar itself was probably better than the dinners of a lot other 4-star hotels in the area, which we visited earlier. Burgers, pork, chicken, fries, salads, lot's of bread, deserts and all kinds of ice cream was there all the time. Food during regular times (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was extremely good for all inclusive. Extremely wide variety of food.
The hotel is around 6 minutes from the beach and around 10 minutes from the city center. However no worries, the actual shops start after 100 meters. It's 10 minutes from the absolute center. Slow walking. It's extremely quiete during the night and can sleep easily.
Room was cleaned every day, all towels changed as well.

Overall - we're very happy with it. We've been in a lot of hotels in Golden Sands lately, 4 and 5- star once. This hotel is definetely the best we've been in recently and we will for sure visit it again in the near future.

Highly recommended for everyone.

Room Tip: superior room or apartment, high floor with sea view.
