We recently attended a wedding in a nearby community, and Sunny Shuswap was our closest option to the venue. We soon realized that it was also the perfect location to access all our favourite activities in the area, and most of the people who found lodging closer to the wedding venue spent much of their time travelling closer to us to access what we had in our backyard.
The house itself is located in Chase about two blocks from the public beach, and you can walk out the back yard onto the first fairway of the local golf course. I played a round on the almost empty 9 hole course one morning in about 90 min. for $24. It's basically a lengthened par 3 course, but you can't beat the surrounding views and the price. If you want to do more serious golfing, there's plenty of courses within 30 min. in any direction.
Our room had an ensuite bathroom and comfortable bed on the second floor, but we spent our leisure time out in the spacious back yard full of fruit trees on the patio near their above ground swimming pool when we weren't touring the many wineries, and adventuring in the hills around the area.
Ricky (Ulriche?) was our cheerful host, and she served delicious and varied breakfasts for several groups of people at flexible times each morning. She was very helpful with tips for area activities and made sure we always felt welcome.
The price, breakfasts, access to the home, and the central location make this a very good choice for anyone travelling in the area.

Had a great stay with family here. Rented the Honeymoon Suite, it was large clean and comfortable. First breakfast was continental style, 3 types of bread was served along with a large selection of cold cuts and cheeses and cereals. The rhubarb swirl bread disappeared it was so good! 2nd day's breakfast was perfectly med boiled eggs, sausage, potato patties, oatmeal, breads along with the cereals and a home made breakfast peach cobbler.
One small complaint was that the toaster/microwave/kettle couldn't be plugged in at the same time or the breaker would pop.
A playpen was provided for our son and he slept very comfortably too.

Room Tip: honeymoon suite the best deal and largest. No bath tub in any of the rooms, all showers.

Ulrike (owner) has dependably and graciously looked after me for years. I stop here on my way between Calgary and the coast and always leave refreshed and full of a great breakfast. Highly recommend if you want a clean, quiet (except for trains which are a reality in this part of BC), and comfortable stay.

We were very fortunate to stay one night on our way thru to Vancouver from Banff. It is a quaint little village.

Our room was very comfortable and was located on the bottom floor with its own entrance and bathroom and access to the guest living room and back yard patio. There is a small fridge, microwave, tv, and pool table for guests to share.

Our hostess really made us feel welcome and at home. Very reasonable cost for stay and two breakfasts. As others have remarked, the food in town itself was not very special.

This was a last-minute decision as I stopped off in Chase, and I was very pleased.
I had the ground-floor room with ensuite which was large, bright and very clean.
Lovely big property backing onto the golf course.
Breakfast was continental style with muffins, yogurt, fruit - all plentiful and fresh.
Chase is a lovely little town on the lake, very pleasant to walk around. But it is a small town so don't expect fine-dining options.
I would recommend this B&B.
