We were advised that sounds easily moved through the Yurt membrane. There were ear plugs placed beside our luxurious king sized bed. We didn't need them as our unseen neighbours were quiet, there was no rain or wind to provide an environmental symphony. Silence was golden as was the service: complimentary breakfast was cooked to order, our trip to the communal hot tub was accompanied by one of the owners who pulled off the lid, advise regarding side trips was helpful. Be prepared for a steep and rough car ride to the site and plan for a midweek stay for this kind of tranquility.

Room Tip: the 'Tatoosh Yurt' has great privacy

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodge. Beautiful scenery, lovely food and stunning artwork and ambience. My only suggestion would be to sort out that road. I know it’s the rugged west coast, but our car was skidding around and it was difficult to get up ! Otherwise, perfect stay.

Went for one night, after arriving and seeing the stunning view and surroundings booked a second night. We stayed in the Juan de Fuca suite attached to the main building. It was great! The tub was welcomed by my wife while I enjoyed the 'den' catching up on some hockey. We only had breakfast but both times it was fab! How do you poached the eggs so perfectly? The presentation matched the food; superb. I enjoyed the hot tub; the view was amazing and the surroundings serene. We viewed the Yurts with a thought for 'next time' and would for sure stay in one. We are from the East and get out to BC only once a year but for sure will be coming back here. We have spread the word to our friends that live in BC to try this place out. I recommend it without reservation (pun intended). The staff were great, hats off to those we met, Tim, Raphael, Spencer and Sarah and of course Finn!

So glad you had a great stay. Thanks for the awesome review. The secret to the poached eggs is white wine vinegar in the water.

This lodge was a wonderful getaway for anniversary! It was quite, seemed remote, yet easy to find and close to Port Renfrew. The accommodation was spacious, and clean with super comfortable king bed. Don’t miss signing up for Tim’s 6:30 pm dinner. It was exquisite!! We would return in a heartbeat!!

What an amazing spot! We stayed for 2 nights in one of their yurts and loved every minute of it. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and very private. The food was delicious, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend - we will be back!
