Dining by reserve but in September it was not really necessary the supper was on the high price side but very well done and the service was the best, but the breakfast was to die for

Sitting times were spread out, quaint setting, 3 choices for the dinner we had, meals were well done but average except for the lamb chops, they were quite good and well cooked, needed a more gourmet gravy or sauce but very tasty otherwise.

Thisis a very quiet older establishment. Well maintained while still holding on to time old traditions. There is free wi-fi but no TVs. Listen to the radio or play supplied cassette tapes. Large grounds with plenty of beautiful evergreen trees. During our stay there was live entertainment each evening.

Honestly, I wouldn't eat here again. The food was pretty mediocre. The entree choices were salmon, chicken, or a striploin. I got the salmon, and it was good. My husband got the striploin, and it was fairly terrible. The sauce was good, but who would ever serve that cut of meat? So tough and grisly.

For the prices, not worth it to eat here. But the ceilidh in the barn on Wednesday evenings is fun. So maybe eat somewhere else and come later for the ceilidh :)

Had a good meal with two couples complete with wine or beer. The seafood was better than the comfort food offered.
