This is definitely something different. It like darts, but using an axe instead of a dart. There is more effort than throwing a dart and more technique than tossing a dart. It's about $20 an hour but worth it for a small group of 2 to 4 people. It's louder and more fun than throwing darts, kind of like bowling.
There is a bar that only serves local beer and you can't take your drinks into the throwing area, but you can step in and out as you desire.
Make sure to arrive early to fill out the forms and get a quick review of how to throw. This way you won't chew up time in your lane.
The location is perfect, with lots of free parking.

Visited HaliMac with the family and had an awesome time! Staff were great, the faculty was awesome and the kids loved it. But honestly, who doesn't like throwing sharp objects into the wall?!?
