Nice place to stop and from here I walked along the Harvest Moon trailway into downtown Kentville and back to the car.

Eaves Hollow park is located just at the border between the towns of Kentville and New Minas. The Kentville Agricultural Station is located just across the road from this park. Btw I have driven into the KAS to look at the beautiful rhododendrons in June. There is no charge to drive in.

It was interesting to see the statue of Charles Eaves in Eaves Hollow park. He was a Canadian scientist who worked at the KAS and he extended the storage of apples by controlling levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide. His research established storage methods that were adopted worldwide.

Eaves Hollow park has a parking lot, a picnic table and tools for fixing your bike.
