Having done a few walking and hiking trails in the area, this trail was not difficult and it was certainly enjoyable with views in some places.

My wife and I took our new dog for a walk down to the ravine and had a pleasant walk.
One thing that caught my eye right away was the lack of garbage cans in the upper area where the shelter is.
There used to be a garbage can there for us dog walkers to dispose of our bags of dog poop, but it is gone and either people are just throwing their bags of dog poop where the garbage can used to be or someone has taken the can and dumped the contents out.
No matter what the case,it is an eyesore.
Other than that it is a great walk, but be prepared for the steep hill on the way back up !!!

Great hiking/walking trails in the Heart of Kentville. The trail follows a stream and is a beautiful walk which doesn't eat up too much of the day. The main entrance is through the Research Center. You need to follow the road up until you hit the Parking lot for the picnic area and the entrance is through this.
