Love this place and don't get to go often enough. Great Schnitzel and that is the only thing I get with the spätzle of course. Service was good and quick. Great authentic German food and worth visiting if you get the chance. Rumors were this place was closing but the Server advised us that it had new owners and were not closing in the near future. I hope they do not close.
Thank you
We had heard this restaurant had changed hands again so we thought we would give it another try. Well, it was better than last time but still not great. My friend, who was born in Germany has been coming here since it opened and was operated by a German. The family who bought it from the original owner had thought about moving the restaurant but changed their minds. They still own it. The food was better than the last time we were here. What was disturbing was a guest at the next table who decided to have a conversation on his cell phone while in speaker mode with his mother. Both must have been hard of hearing as his and her voice travelled throughout the restaurant. I wanted to move but my friend did not thinking we would embarrass him. What about our dining experience? Eventually his call ended and Peace resumed so we could try and enjoy our meal.
Thank you
Looking for authentic German schnitzel?? Look no further !
An amazing little place we've been going to for years.. the price is well fit and the portions are just huge!
We've brought our little 15 month old here a few times, high chairs are available and work well with the tables .
Now the food .... my god...
So amazing ... I always get the jager schnitzel ... and noting beats the in house homemade spaetzle with hunter sauce . My wife gets the Mexican schnitzel and raves over it everyone .
Hackerpschorr wheat beer on tap and served in a stone stein to boot!
The Hungarian goulash is to die for as well..
Just go.. do it ... it will be a place to call your own and take family to.
Thanks
My husband and I had supper and shared the combo platter for two. It had two kinds of sausage, smoked pork chops, schnitzel, steamed veggies, red cabbage and sauerkraut. We ate until we were full and took home the leftovers. It was quite tasty although my husband wasn't a fan of the dill sauce on the veggies. We will go back again and try the peppercorn schnitzel which comes highly recommended by friends. Make reservations - this place fills fast!
