Have been going here for a long time. Husband and I went for the perch dinner.Boy I was very disappointed. The perch was overcooked and dry.It was busy. Perch was on special for the evening.Did not receive a discount or an apology.Would really have to think twice about going back. It was overpriced to.

There are more than 200 boat slips most of which are used by daily boaters. On weekends this can be a very busy marina starting with the morning fishing run, followed by the water sport and sun loving (Grass Island) crowds. The marina is located in a shallow area of the lake but well marked by buoys.

The numerous trailer sites (many park models) make for a family friendly destination which offers nightly camp sites as well. It is quite spacious. The evenings in the marina are quiet as many people retire to their trailers but there is more activity in sections with larger boats and campfires are not uncommon throughout..

A gas and a pump-out station are readily available. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable as were the other boaters. There are a number of washroom facilities which are showing their age a bit and with the weekend traffic would benefit from more frequent cleaning.

There are a couple of decent restaurants in town (walkable, driveable or golf cartable for residents), especially if you like fresh fish. For more dining selections or shopping, Wallaceburg and Chatham are a short drive.
