Had a Sunday evening meal here. Food was pretty good but as we had a dog we had to sit in the bar. Unfortunately we were sat by the door to the outside loos on a cold and damp day. The door wasn't closed for more than 15 seconds resulting in an icy blast on each occasion as people went back and forth on occasion not bothering to close it properly. It was also busy and we were therefore close to the backsides of numerous drinkers at the bar. It also seemed people were allowed to openly vape inside. A real shame as the owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. Great for a drink but the bars not a place to eat

We were looking for another restaurant and ended at The Duke of Wellington. The menu looks very limited and the food was not good. Very expensive for what you get. No value at all.

We wanted to try this place in early September, but although the website said they'd be open we saw no sign of activity. It looked like a nice location, but we'll never know now.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday by spending a long weekend in Wellington. We went to The Duke for lunch. We really enjoyed sitting on their back deck overlooking the water. We just ordered salads and rose and both we quite good. But this place has HUGE potential to be really great. Especially since Wellington seemed to be very busy but is lacking in choices for restaurants and bars/cocktail lounges. We felt that the village would benefit from a really nice more updated pub with better food and also entertainment, as well as possibly a wine bar (it is wine country afterall). Hopefully they eventually renovate this pub. It really could be one of the best spots in Wellington.

Taking a day trip through prince Edward county and stopped here for lunch. We sat on the patio which overlooked the marina so was interesting to watch. The restaurant wasn't very clean. The waitress spent lost of her time telling patrons what they were out of - which was a long list including several types of beer, buffalo chicken bites, mushroom caps, etc etc.

We had burgers - the buns were fresh but cold - the fries were under cooked.

Probably won't return here.
