I spent the Canada Day weekend here with my family. The cottage was impeccably clean, the rooms and amenities were perfect. The cottages are located right along the beach so as to provide a quiet and surreal morning and evening experience. Booking was easy, directions to the cottage were simple. This was a perfect weekend away on the island. If you want the perfect PEI experience at a reasonable price I highly recommend this place.

we stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage; booked for 3 nights, $338ca total. did not eat-in, but facilities were there in well-stocked kitchen. tv ok (small flat screen); wifi ok too. short walk across the road and down stairs to the beach, beautiful walking.
very friendly managers. had put down refundable deposit to reserve, many months before. no problem.
ate dinners at blue mussel café and the preserve. bfast at by the river. all good.
very nice stay.

The best cottages in Cavendish-located directly across from the national park, great swimming and beach combing. Perfect for families, with lots of lawn and space to roam, and the kids can explore the play sets, the swings, the basketball hoop. Alfred, the co manager, is a good sport giving the kids a tour on his golf court. The next door dairy farm as some Holsteins that are a thrill for the kids to see in the neighbouring field.

Darlene and Linda (co manager) keep the cottages spanking clean and well stocked with all the kitchen essentials.

The cottages are located right along the bike trails and it's a nice ride with kids to Cavendish. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the view, and the waves.

Cottages are great for couples and families who want a quiet setting- not suitable for the party crowd. Really I don't know what else a family or couple would need. Cottages are not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are stairs and the bathrooms are very limited in size.

Room Tip: All have a great view. The cottages with the twin beds have the larger bathroom with a tub for bathing kids.

This place is terrific. It sleeps eight, but there were only five of us. The cabin we had was a two-bedroom with a fold-out couch, which was surprisingly comfortable. The cabin had air conditioning, but we didn't need it at night. The cool wind off the water made it perfect for sleeping. The private beach is just across the road. Lots of shells. Warm, shallow waters to wade in. Great for walking. You do need to go down quite a few steps to get to the actual sand, though, as it's set below the road. The view from the cabins is terrific. There are playsets and swings for the kids. Each cottage comes with a BBQ grill, a place to park, and kitchen stocked with everything you could need. There is a coin-operated laundry on-site for doing your wash. When you rent there, they give you something to hang on your mirror which lets you into the national park for free because it's in the national park. It's a terrific location for all of the Anne of Green Gables fans out there. It's right off Route 6, nearly in the heart of Cavendish, and close to everything--beaches, restaurants, lighthouses, shopping, you name it. I would go back there in a second! Oh, and it had a TV with cable programming and free wi-fi access. Can't forget those! ;-)

Room Tip: They all have spectacular views.

These cottages were lovely. They had a beautiful view of the ocean and were walking distance to a beautiful quiet area of the beach. The cottage had all of the supplied you'd need including your own bbq.
