The room itself was pretty nice and a good Asthetic, it was as presented in the photos for the most part. However, The floors were really cold due to being tile. Also, the lock on the door was really janky which in addition to being annoying to use also made us feel less safe. The safety component was a concern as all the rooms are right on the street partitioned only by a bit of barbed wire. There’s also no blackout shades, so you’ll get up when the sun comes up.
The hotel isn’t 5 stars, or even 2 or 3. I’ll be generous and give it a 2.5. It’s really a motel with a nice modern asthetic. There are absolutely no amenities except for a swimming pool that is constantly being used by huge family groups that absolutely take over the premises. Speaking of these groups, they will keep you up all night with loud music and wake you up early in the morning with screaming kids and slamming doors. There’s nothing romantic about this place.
The one bright spot for us was that the reception was very nice. He checked in to make sure our stay was pleasant. Not his fault that the property itself is so lackluster.
