Nice grounds!

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 1 Oct 2022
The grounds of this hotel are very nice and well maintained. The swimming pool is also good, but could do with more umbrellas to shade sunbeds. Other than that the set up is a little confusing - not sure the difference between Hotel Boutique and Entre Venidos. We stayed for 5 nights at the end of September - we were attending a wedding which was held nearby. The weekend set up was good, but the pool bar was not open on weekdays and there was ongoing construction which paused at the weekend.
Rooms could do with some TLC and therefore are overpriced - they are not up to the standard of the grounds. All the staff are very willing to help, but don't seem to be well trained - simple needs were not anticipated, but were acted on quickly when requested e.g. we regularly had to ask for towels at the pool and room towels were not replaced when left on the floor.
There was plenty of hot water and the shower was powerful - there were a couple of power outages when we were there but they were brief.

This property is so gorgeous that it pains me to not write an excellent review.

We checked in and went directly to the pool for drinks (Omg amazing, made with fresh fruit). My husband booked us here for 3 night for our anniversary. It was a long holiday weekend so prices naturally go up. He didn’t mind spending the $500 a night being that the property looked gorgeous.

Here is where the problem arises. We got an entre viñedos room. The room location was gorgeous and so was the setting but the room was run down… walls were peeling, floor was scratched all over, room just looked like it needed a bunch of TLC. I can handle that being that the property is stunning but the problem was the air conditioner… the mini split wasn’t tuned on when we checked in and it took 5 hours for the room to cool down. Then they kept having power outages so when we returned after a whole day of wine tasting it was 120 degrees in our room.. this happened two days in a row. The disappointment comes in the fact that I told them about the problems while there and no one ever came to our room and then when we checked out and they didn’t seem to care, not even an apology.

We travel a lot and plan on returning to valle and really want to return here but the lack of PR is disappointing.

Wow, what a great experience from arrival to departure. Came for a quick getaway from San Diego and it was perfect. The hotel is pretty and clean. The restaurant on property is delicious and the staff is super friendly and many speak English to assist any only English speakers. Get the grand deluxe villa! So worth it, and not that much more than their classic rooms. Definitely coming back if ever in this area!

Wine country hotel. Very bumpy road to reach it. Modern office and restaurant. First stop on a trip down the Baja. Room was clean and linens good. Only draw back was a steep narrow stair to reach the room but helpful bellman hauled up the bags at least on arrival. Would return for longer stay.

This place is the perfect spot if you want to get away from the city. They have live music on the weekends, delicious Mexican gourmet, the whole place is a dream. The staff is always nice and helpful. This is our second time and will be not the last time <3 perfect for family or couples

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times as we travel to Baja frequently from California. We had planned to go back for his birthday and booked a room. Unfortunately, our travel plans changed and we had to cancel the trip. We cancelled three weeks prior to going, well outside being charged any fees, but can not get a refund from the hotel and, at this point, not even a response. It is horrible. Do not trust them. My husband likes to ride in Baja with his friends and often times, we will have a couples trip. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
