Spent two nights in the area and had breakfast both mornings at Esthela’s. The first morning we waited an hour and it was worth it! The owner greeted each table and was gracious to spend time chatting with us about her experience with Gordon Ramsey!We learned to arrive before 8am to avoid the wait. Excellent corn pancakes and omelette de la casa.

This place is super popular so expect to wait to be seated.

The menu is very varied with dishes from regional and national Mexican cuisine. In particular, the cornbread cakes are very tasty and characteristic. It is a place that must be visited.

Been to Valle 4 times and have to make it to Cocina Dona Esthela every time or it just doesn't feel right. This time I brought 8 of my friends who had never been to Valle. Not one of them was disappointed. We had a tasting of everything practically, from the nopales con huevos, elote pancakes, birria de borrego, chilaquiles, and everything was amazing!
We will continue the tradition of making it to Dona Esthela on our visits to El Valle.
