Ok we fell in love with this hotel. The rooms are really nothing special, small beds, a bit noisy and we had some mechanical problems. But everything was fixed right away and never affected our stay. The downside was with a really loud wedding ceremony that lasted late into the night complete with a Mariachi band.

That aside, the facility is very pretty, with an abundance of art and artifacts. It is incredibly close to the Pyramids and a wide assortment of restaurants. We walked everywhere and had a great time doing so. The area is very typically Mexican and dose NOT just cater to foreign tourists. Most everyone we ran into were Mexicans, albeit tourists.

The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were knowledgeable of the area and offered information as needed. Not everyone spoke English so that made it fun trying to work out communications.

We will definitely be back and I’d recommend them to anyone that’s not used to staying in large hotel resorts.

The Teotihuacan site is large enough that you need more than 2-3 hours to do it justice. This is the perfect hotel for an overnight visit. You can walk to the site in 10 minutes and get there before the tour buses which arrive around 10 AM. And go hot air ballooning the next morning. This area offers the perfect weather conditions for hot air ballooning year round.
The rooms are around an interior courtyard with a nice pool. They are clean and small but large enough for a couple. They are well appointed but without an electric kettle. We were there in November and the electric heater kept the room comfortable.
On the other hand the Media Luna restaurant was uncomfortably cold. We had to wear our coats there. The best value for breakfast is "Huevos al Gusto" compared to the omelets which are quite small. The restaurant delivers good quality dishes but its prices tend to be on a high side.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the restaurant.

The hotel is incredibly located and allows you to get to the park early by walking. The hotel is very pleasant but the rooms can be a little noisy because of the thin walls but put that aside because you cannot beat the location. The restaurant is a little pricey but excellent quality. Service and all the people were great.

Room Tip: Choose the second floor if you want it to be quieter

I stayed at Villas during the summer and it was the best choice I could have made! First of all, the hotel is beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and kind; especially the General Manager Kristhian Martinez. I visited with a friend and the staff made sure we settled in perfectly. The hotel has a great garden, a spa, a pool, and a restaurant with a bar. The food at the restaurant was amazing. I am from the US but have Mexican parents so I know how authentic Mexican food is supposed to taste like and this food will exceed your expectations. I really recommend the Chilaquiles for breakfast! Another great thing about this place is that it's only a 10 min walk from the entrance to the pyramids which is a definite plus. Overall I had a really wonderful stay and I would definitely come back again!

Excellent choice for visiting Teotihuacan! Nice rooms and grounds with pool and bar and interesting archeological displays. Reasonably priced. Almost feels like a resort. Hotel staff was very helpful in arranging a hot-air balloon ride for us (highly recommended!) Room was clean and comfortable. Only disappointment was the food in the restaurant - not nearly as good or cheap as the long row of local eateries a short walk down the road.
