The hotel is nice and clean, it's decor is not what I would like for a county place like Tequesquitengo.
The layout is kind of strange as some rooms face directly to the street.
The hotel lacks good architectural design but is in general clean. The restaurant is average.

This is a great hotel of yesteryear which has been well kept despite the years. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The food is great. It is a peaceful place for a great getaway weekend. 2 to 2 1/2 hours away from Mexico City. Great lakeside bar.

Room Tip: Choose a lake front room

This is an overrated hotel. The service and price do not match. You would expect facilities better maintained for what they charge. I attended the new year celebration that turned out to be the worst choice. The hall where we ate felt worst than a bad neighborhood event saloon without a view of the lake. Bad food without choices, bad music that would not have variety and the feed back on their sound system was annoying. They had planned en event till four in the morning, but some of us left as soon as the new year arrived to look for a better place.

Nice for a weekend getaway from the city. Got a room with a nice view to the lake, liked the balcony a lot. Hotel personnel very polite.
Rooms do not have wifi which is ok considering it is a spa and a plae to relax; the only con detail is that there is a fee to actually use the fridge to store your own products.

We had a wonderful time over the weekend! Food is delicious, including the hand made tortillas and the staff super friendly, specially Mr. Jeronimo. The spa service is wonderful to complete a relaxing weekend over it!

Room Tip: Rooms in 4th floor are highly recommeded.
