Many pros but a few cons -
Very quiet, peaceful, saw many whales while eating breakfast. Yoga classes, watsu water sessions - amazing.
- Nothing off resort to do - big plus for us
- Amazing beach - great sand - peaceful and walkable.
-Always enough beach chairs and best of all, take as many towels as you need - no silly towel card to hand in at the end.
- Food is good quality
- Staff are really good - especially if you tip.

Cons -
- Food allergens not understood very well - many accidental poisonings even though told it was free of gluten / dairy
- After every meal you have to sign a bill with expected tip - feels weird for an all inclusive. They will chase you down to sign it.
- Alcoholic drinks are counterfeit and watered down - expected better from this resort.

3rd time here. Food unfortunately deteriorating. Beautiful beach. Not much live music now. Can be very relaxing when there is low occupancy. Some wonderful staff e.g Jaime at the beach. He deserves a medal.
Improvement in ambient music evident . Glad that they got that right at last.

We had a wonderful 9-day stay at this all-inclusive resort in Mexico. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and always easy to talk to, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit.

The resort has excellent service all around. If you can't find an umbrella or beach chairs by the beach, the staff will gladly set one up for you, which was a nice touch. As for the infinity pool, be aware that chairs near the pool tend to fill up by 10 a.m., so if you want a spot with a great view, it's best to get there early.

Food was a highlight of our stay! There was a fantastic variety, but our absolute favorite was the little taco bar, where you could have fresh tortillas heated up right in front of you as you walked up. A great little perk for taco lovers! Our room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. One recommendation: check out the "pillow menu" when you check in. The pillows in the room were a bit on the firm side, so we ordered different ones, and they made a big difference for a better night's sleep.

The nightly activities and music at the bar near the lobby were enjoyable, but if your room is near there, be prepared for some noise until about 10 p.m. It wasn't disruptive, but it’s worth mentioning for those who prefer quieter evenings.

One downside was the pressure to attend a "one-time presentation" about their hotel program during check-in. They offer free massages as an incentive for attending, but the sales pitch was relentless, and they were not happy with a simple "no" when we declined. We would recommend skipping the 90-minute presentation to avoid the hassle.

All in all, though, it was a fantastic stay. The resort is beautiful, the weather was perfect, and we had an unforgettable time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing! Will definitely be returning.

The Great
-Service. All staff was accommodating and kind. Every one we encountered went out of their way to say hello, ask if we need anything, etc. Mario, the pool side waiter, was so great!! Carolina and Eliseo from Divum restaurant truly went above and beyond.

-Resort. Extremely clean and well-maintained grounds. Tons of variety of seating, activities, locations, restaurants, etc. The landscaping was gorgeous! Made the daily walk from the room to the beach/pools so enjoyable. Even the bathrooms were beautiful! Always clean, smelling great with floral arrangements placed in the hand towels. Elevated the whole experience!!

-Beach. Clean, lots of lounge chairs available. Lots of vendors but they always stayed respectful!

The Good
-Food. SO much variety, some meals were 10/10 amazing, others were just okay. We loved everything we tried at Divum and Drops. Blend was a safe choice (though the service was a bit slow). Essence was okay. Brise was where we went most often and it was sometimes great and sometimes not. Breakfast was not our favourite, but the Italian night was excellent, they have lots of live food stations, tons of options/types of cuisines, and all the desserts were good! Service at Brise was sometimes great and sometimes non-existent.

-Cleanliness of rooms. Overall was good, though we did have to ask on two occasions for more shampoo, towels, etc.

The Bad
-Noise in our room. If you are booking, MAKE SURE you are not in Tower 1 or 'Canada Tower' I think it was called, especially the 4th floor. They are lovely rooms but ours was situated directly below the nightclub AND Divum restaurant. Surprisingly the noise from the nightclub never bothered us, but the chairs in Divum were so loud!! If Armony reads this, some feedback would be to add felt pads to the bottom of the chairs to reduce noise! The sound the chairs made scraping against the floor as people sat down/got up until 11pm followed by them cleaning (?) sometimes starting as early as 4am was insane!!! Even with earplugs in, I was woken up from a dead sleep. We asked to switch rooms but nothing was available.

-The drive to the resort. Now that we know... the drive isn't bad at all. But first time visitors be warned (especially if arriving at night), the drive/roads to the resort feel incredibly unsafe! We were on a private transfer from the airport and our driver was very nice... then suddenly he pulled off the main road and we proceeded down narrow, pitch black dirt roads and under a very sketchy overpass. We came to what seemed like a dead end roundabout... and suddenly arrived at the beautiful open-air lobby of the resort! Obviously it turned out just fine- but was very stressful especially after a long travel day. Just be aware!

Overall, we LOVED our experience and are already planning a return trip with friends. Amazing resort, great staff, good value, definitely recommend!

I went for my cousins wedding and had planned on having my wife join me. She had to cancel the night before and couldn't come. I went solo and planned to change rooms to sleep with my parents to save on lodging after the first night given I had to pay for 50% of the room rate per policy. I tried talking to the front desk, in both english and spanish about this. They did not want to talk, just check me in. I got checked in and figured I could resolve it with them later. I called Citi Travel, who then tried getting Booking.com to talk to the hotel. Nobody was taking the matter urgently. I tried talking to the front desk daily about my situation and they kept saying "we can't do anything about this". I know this is not true as I've modified stays many times at many hotels in this way after initial check in. The front desk continued to dismiss my issue and I got nowhere with Citi/Booking.com. I ended up having to pay for double occupancy the entire length of the stay.

Its a shame to have such poor front desk service when it is such a beautiful property. The food was great and the location was incredible. I just wouldn't ever book this hotel again given the inflexibility of their policies and staff.

Room tip: Do not book through a 3rd party and make sure you are ready to pay full price no matter what happens.

Pros:
- Beautiful, clean, modern resort with nice atmosphere. Lots of facilities (pools, bars, gym, spa)
- lovely, friendly staff who go above and beyond to help (Marco, Jaime, Catherine, Fabian, Mario)
-great quality food (although could do with another restaurant)
- Beautiful beach, lots of area to walk and lounge, clear clean beach/water for swimming, amazing sunsets

Cons:
- Unfortunately, I do not recommend this resort if you have severe food allergies (as of December 2024). Staff do not understand severity of allergies, there no ingredients lists for dishes. Was very difficult to identify what was safe, and what was not safe to eat, making meals very stressful. I have a severe nut allergy and was told during multiple meals there was no nuts in certain dishes, but then saw nuts in the food. One meal, I was served a dish with peanuts (they told me there was no nuts), and I had an allergic reaction, I had to get the doctor on call to give treatment. I did speak to the manager Omar and let him know how they can improve their processes for allergies, he said changes will be made.
- Spa prices were extravagant. We knew it would be expensive, but it was crazy (average $200 USD) Making the spa inaccessible for many. We got a massage on the beach for $45 USD.

General Comments:
- We came here to relax and sit on the beach, we didn’t come here to party. It seems like they had lots of activities during the day (yoga, volleyball etc). At night, they could have improved entertainment (shows, music).
- Overall great relaxing atmosphere and other guests were very friendly and social!
