The pappadoms were warm and crisp, the chutneys were fresh. My vegetable pakora was served piping hot. Beautifully done. Mains - I had Lamb Madras. Perfect. Nice and spicy hot but not stupidly so. Lamb was tender with no gristle. Lovely. Pillau rice was hot and with perfect consistency. The plain naan was very hot, perfectly done and leaves you wanting more.
My only complaint is the mint sauce which has the consistency of water. Way too thin. Most of it runs off your food and is wasted. PLEASE thicken it up.

Me and a group of friends went down for the Tuesday night special and the food and service was good as always.

Nevertheless, the evening was spoiled by another table who were celebrating a birthday. Now obviously a little bit of laughter and joviality is to be expected and indeed makes for a pleasant atmosphere but this was a whole different kettle of fish. Some members of this party were well inebriated and were bellowing songs and shouting at the top of their voice for much of the time we ate.

Unfortunately the staff seemed to turn a blind eye to the whole situation which was quite frustrating as you could see other diners were also getting fed up. I appreciate it doesn't make good business sense to upset a large gathering who are eating and drinking copious amounts but they could have apologised on the way out or given us some free drinks as a gesture of good will. Naturally they didn't do anything like this or I wouldn't have cause to complain.

TLDR : Food and waiting times were very good but the evening was massively let down by a loud party which wasn't controlled by the staff.

I enjoyed my meal, but my husband was not so keen. Seems to be a fairly popular eatery, which does takeaway too.

We were staying at a local airport hotel and rather than eat in we decided to try the Dilshad. We were not disappointed. The place is clean, the staff efficient and the choice of food was good. We only had one course, but the portion sizes were large. We enjoyed the food, but we've had better as we live in Birmingham!!!

A family visit, 5 of us, with two vegans and one of them being lactose intolerant. The advice of the waiter could not have been bettered. Took time to explain their use of gee, and which food to avoid. The food was quick, absolutely excellent as far as all were concerned. Would definitely use again. And they do takeaways.
