Description: 'Excellent atmosphere, food, service and surroundings' - that is the feedback we get from our guests and we are proud of it. Call in for a morning coffee and tea-cakes, enjoy a bottle of wine and sharing platter with friends or book a romantic dinner with someone special in a cosy corner of the restaurant. We offer great food and great service and a great experience in relaxed, calm and quirky surroundings.

Having been to the restaurant quite a few times over the years today was dissapointing.
Starters were bland and tasteless and 3 of the 6 mains were undercooked and another, again bland. The waitress did offer to replace but we had had enough by then.
The bill was presented over £40 incorrect and barman seemed inconvenienced to have to adjust.
Sadly felt they were not bothered about the business either way.........

The staff need either training or changing. Most meals were OK but others were awful, not really the quality the Blenheim used to offer. We were basically ignored. Don’t think we will be going again.

Live close so visit this restaurant fairly regularly but not since new owners.
Checked into the bar at 8.00 and was told to take a seat, ignored until we tried again at 8.30. No menu's brought. Eventually taken to the table (restaurant very quiet). Had to ask for menus and then wine list. Ordered eventually. Adjacent table ordered red wine but waitress unable to open so the diner had to open it. My wife suggested to the other diners it was like fawlty towers, I said it wasn't that good.
Then the food arrived. Fantastic. One of the best meals we have had for a very long time. If they can get the waiting staff trained then I would give a 5 star rating as the restaurant is a great location. Traditional old farmhouse
