Small place, we did the mid-week Tapas menu. Being familiar with Spain I'm familiar with the type of food and they did a very good job.

Reasonably priced, good service, good food.

Ideal for couples or a couple of couples but not such a big venue.

Had a very pleasant dinner at the Mileburne on our only visit so far. It's a small restaurant and we had a party of about 8 people. It was December and there was a fixed menu on offer which was really very good indeed. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive, and it was good to be able to have the table for the night. An excellent meal and a very memorable night. Would definitely recommend.

We called in for the tapas menu which was absolutely delicious. The service was fabulous as always we had a lovely 10 course tapas dinner that was delicious and inventive. At the end the waitress gave us a melt in the middle pudding as treat for our anniversary!!! We've been about eight times and everytime it's been brilliant.

We have been quite a few times to the Mileburne and it is always a treat. We did the taster this time and the food tasted wonderful but wit a few question marks over my previous review.

The price has definitely gone up - hey inflation it hits us all but in this case it wasn't so much the food it was the wine which has at least doubled since our last visit. It was always the icing on the cake that you got good wine at a reasonable price for a restaurant but no more they have moved to a much more commercial pricing and I should know being in the pub business for many years.

The other issue was the time between courses; the food is great and we know it takes time but when the stew takes 20+ minutes to come out even though you know it has to be prep'd before hand to be at its best it strikes me of a timeline to encourage wine drinking - I may be a bit cynical but...

Service wasn't as friendly as it has been but was efficient and good and we know staff change.

Always remember the food is great here so give it a chance just watch your wine consumption.

I suggested bringing a group of French work colleagues to the restaurant for Tapas on 1/9/16. They are used to a high standard of food, and our evening at Mileburne certainly lived up to that! We all frequently made comments about the stylish decor, whilst OBVIOUSLY enjoying the food and drinks. Service was excellent from Lili and Julia, being attentive but not overbearing - the perfect balance. The variety on the tapas menu is very good, with a very modest price tag! It really is worth a try, if you haven't already.
