We had a lovely stay, very much recommended :) we were made to feel very welcome and felt instantly at home. Both Chris and Denise were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was always delicious, bed wonderfully comfy, and overall the whole experience was lovely and relaxed. Located right in the heart of Wirksworth with everything we needed just a few minutes away. Will definately stay again.

We were bought a gift experience last Christmas that was due to expire, so quickly needed using. It allowed us a one nights stay at a number of venues across the UK. We chose Number 37 in Wickworth for the main reasons being its location, professional website, high rating but mainly they are a dog friendly B&B and we hate leaving our beloved pup at home.
We weren't disappointed, completely lived up to expectations! Despite the owners having cats and not dogs themselves; Chris and Denise gave all 3 of us a warm welcome. The accommodation was clean and cosy and we were given all the necessary information needed when visiting a new location- the tourist spots, eateries and best places to walk. We were told the location of the locals pub where we found ourselves at the end of the night. Everyone was friendly and happy to chat with us. Anyway, back to reviewing Number 37! We were given a choice of breakfasts with locally produced produce. To summarise, a lovely venue, lovely hosts and would highly recommend a visit. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Myself and wife had a great relaxing weekend at No.37.
We were greeted by Chris who showed us to our lovely church view room and met Denise and the cats when she cooked our fantastic tea.
Chris & Denise are a genuinely lovely couple who cannot do enough for you and even gave us an extra piece of brownie to take home.
Denise's home cooking is great and the full English is amazing.
If you are looking for a relaxing break that is like home from home this is the place to go.
We will be back

Chris and Denise could not have been more helpful and friendly. The house is full of character with a great sense of its history. We spent one comfortable, quiet and cosy night, and look forward to coming back soon. We love the area, and are delighted to have found such a lovely and genuinely welcoming place to stay. Breakfast was great too. Tea and coffee in the room, home made fruit cake on arrival, and hot bath/shower made for a real treat.

We chose No37 from an experience voucher list and we're pleased we did: after a horrendous journey we were tired upon arrival and were soon welcomed by Chris and then Denise. They explained the ample street parking, which removed any fears about when to put the car, and showed us the two excellent bathrooms that were opposite our room. These were modern, clean, and well stocked for every need, the shower was ace. Our room overlooked the interesting garden which climbed the slope at the back of the house, and had it been summertime would have been a place we would have been pleased to sit. Back to our room, where we had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space to hang clothes, arm chairs and facilities for making a variety of hot drinks. A large flat screen TV was perfectly positioned for viewing from the bed, and adequately from one of the arm chairs. There were helpful books and brochures about the area to peruse before starting to explore the area. It was quiet with no hint of noise from traffic or others in the house. An excellent choice of cereals, juices, etc.,were there to start an excellent breakfast, which in our case included and excellent Full English, although we could have chosen others from the wide menu. A warm reception, a sincere thanks and farewell by this lovely couple who treated us like ' one of the family' .Not sure but our guess is, with there being a downstairs bedroom it is wheel chair friendly.

Room Tip: Garden room upstairs back, Church view Upstairs front, downstairs room is at the front. Raid is quiet.
