We paid for a tour through her house/hospital and she is so passionate and caring for bats. I think bats are very misinterpritted and negatively viewed. So it was a good experience

Sorry for the late response. The title of your review lifts my heart. Great that you came to the Bat Hospital despite your earlier misgivings about bats and then were open enough to change.

Informative, adorable, interesting, adorable, objective, adorable, realistic, adorable...we learnt so much about why bats are important and dispelled some myths, including regarding their virus spreading capabilities. Please support this hospital.

We learnt so much about these mammals. Our guide was very informative, relaxed and made us very comfortable around the bats. The hospital provides an amazing service to injured bats and are obviously very passionate about their work. We are much more appreciative of these creatures

My husband was fixated on going to this place, so he coerced the four of us to go here. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed the place! It was interesting, informative, and fun. Jenny was terrific in walking us though the place, and through her information about these misunderstood animals.

A must visit if you are in the area. Book in advance. Great education about these wonderful mammals. Way too many are injured by either flying into barbed wire fences or bitten by ticks. Unfortunately the tick season coincides with their breeding season and they haven't adapted like other animals have. These people who run the hospital save hundreds of bats every year. Most are released back into the wild. When you visit you'll meet macro and micro bats and learn all about them. Couldn't say enough about their hospitality and knowledge. Certainly worth every penny spent

Thank you for taking the time to write a great review. It's the beginning of our main barbed wire season now and today we got the first of many rescues to come. A young juvenile male about 4 months old and taking one of his first flights.
