Great tour. Informative.
Most importantly these animals are getting the care they deserve and require. Thank you. These are gorgeous vital animals. Thank you for all your efforts.

Thanks Cheryl, we certainly do our best to care them. There are a lot of Little Red flying foxes getting caught now on barbed wire fences, requiring a lot of care with dressings, antibiotics etc This happens every year when large numbers of them come to Tolga for the nectar in the Spring blossom.

Travelling for the day through the tablelands and decided to drag my parents to the hospital for a tour.
They were hesitant but loved it. Tour was probably supposed to go for ~30-45min but I asked 1,000 questions and they were so flexible and interested in teaching about bats that it went for 1.5 hours.

We had David and Connie as our guides who were fantastic and very knowledgeable.

Close encounter but no hands on (OH&S, risk to bats).

Happy to take flashless photos.

Very relaxed. Best in small groups <6. Toilets on site.

Make sure you call ahead for tours.

They gave me a different appreciation of mega and micro bats

Well worth the money

Even my wife enjoyed watching the feeding and lost her fear of bats

Not hands on but very close encounters

We paid for a tour through her house/hospital and she is so passionate and caring for bats. I think bats are very misinterpritted and negatively viewed. So it was a good experience

Sorry for the late response. The title of your review lifts my heart. Great that you came to the Bat Hospital despite your earlier misgivings about bats and then were open enough to change.
