the views from the restaurant down to the coast are wonderful. The food is good. But being all glass and stone it is very noisy if full. Very popular golf course

over the years have been here many times. The food is reasonable without being spectacular The normal 8 of us had lunch, all but 2 were happy with their meal, one had grilled Barra and said it was very dry and the other had frittata which only had Mushrooms and Beetroot and was not liked.

Had Lunch at the club recently. It was very busy and it appears that the kitchen size can't cope when this occurs. Waited for OVER AN HOUR for a Chicken Parmie. When the meal finally came it was not something to rave about, The schnitzel was over cooked and too crispy. Bar staff are very friendly, good range of Beers etc. Kitchen staff, when busy, are abrupt.
Lucky to get 3 stars, and will consider where to have Lunch next time.

The Headland Golf Club is located in Buderim and has amazing views across to the ocean and for 180 degrees or more along the coastline. As a Golf Club it is well managed, a pretty demanding course and if you can play well there, you can play well anywhere. It is undoubtedly the best Member's Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast.
The restaurant recently renamed Vista @Headland, commands incredible views across the golf course fairways to the coast and the caterer is Greg Pollard who enjoys a pretty special reputation amongst everyone who has dined there.
The restaurant is open every day for lunch from 11am to about 2,00pm, a pasta night with a $15 menu is held each Thursday night and on Friday nights there is a a-la-carte menu which is magnificent (it also changes regularly but some of the standard meals like the fillet mignon surf and turf are always popular). You must make a booking for both Thursday and Friday nights.
It is a very relaxing place to eat and as a member of the Club I attend on Friday nights quite regularly and you see the same people dining there all the time which confirms the quality of the food.
The only down sides are that when it is busy you might have a fair wait to receive your meal and there is a bit of noise from some of the fund raising activities albeit only for a short time.
Our mission is to provide a friendly, professional and relaxing environment for our all customers to enjoy an excellent meal, coffee, cold beer or special occasion with exceptional customer service every time.
I have not patronised the Sunday on the Deck so cannot comment.
You will not regret visiting and dining at this Golf Club.

Went to Sunday on the Deck with tapas and music. Great place to catch up with friends for a drink or two.

Would love to see the club open up Friday or Saturdays occasionally for a band night.
