great rainforest walk from the bottom and dry forest walk at the top.... both lead to a waterfall, bridge and numerous rockpools a great alternative to the beaches on a hot day. Unfortunately part of the track along the creek and rainforest was closed for repair when we went, although this had not been widely advertised. Many visitors ignored warnings and rockhopped anyway

This is a very pretty place hidden away in Beautiful Buderim. A must to adventure out & have a walk and a swim. There are very clean Barbecues and seating for a great lunch. The Council keep it all so clean.

Great way to keep cool and be outside on a hot summer day. The forest is shady and cool.
The boardwalk is easily walkable for everyone, further on the path is rocky with steps and you need to watch your feet. Also stepping stones across the creek can be challenging for young children.
You can have a swim at the waterfall to cool off and we saw some wildlife too, a snake curled up in a sunny spot, a goanna and lizard.

Waterfalls and a creek are cool alternative to the beach during the midday heat, yet still very close and convenient to the coast. This natural forest is a lovely place to walk with family, friends and picnic or relax and enjoy the view with a coffe or a meal from the amazing nearby HARRY's restaurant.

Such a beautiful spot. The walk is fairly easy to get to the waterfall. The boardwalk track was closed off due to needing repairs but many people walked through anyway. There was a part where there is a gap in the boardwalk but was easy enough to cross over the stream. Great walk for the kids too, but would suggest leaving the pram behind. You have to climb up to the main waterfall which is beautiful. Don't forget your togs!!!! The swimming hole is not huge but it's beautiful. There was another way to get to the main waterfall but I wasn't sure how to get through that way. I would suggest going early before it starts getting busy.
