The hot green bean salad is unusually good. Nice crunchy falafel. Unusually large and delicious majedrah (lentils) plate with salad side. Almost immediate service when you sit down. Fast kitchen turnaround. Very friendly family like staff. Unusually reasonable prices for quantity, freshly prepared and tasty food. Just a gem.

Friendly staff. Great little neighborhood place. They have a lot of mediteranean dishes but also the regular american favorites. Lot's of sandwiches. Kids menu also.

I love their chicken shishtawook. Marinated chicken and in house garlic sauce. Yummy

Regular and chicken Philly. So tasty.

Talking about Middle Eastern food on the menu. American traditional breakfast foods served here, too. The service is to die for: immediate. From the kindergartener boy opening the door and leading you to the table of your choice, to the very knowledgable and expert waitress you'll love it. We loved the stuff grape leaves platter served pipping hot with zatzikie (yogurt/sour creme with garlic) dip, the gigantic lentil salad (OK more rice than lentils--lentils are warm), the falafel platter (one large pita stuffed with falafel and tomato-romaine salad) and its requisite hot sauce side, and the green bean salad (lots of hot greenbeans) in riot of color with sliced lemons frame. Very thoughtul serving of pita quarters in plastic bags for freshness. And most of all they really do prepared most of the dishes from "scratch" to order so the food is fresh and tastes like it.

I am not a fan of falafel, etc., so I was reluctant. Frank has a lot of good stuff on the menu, so don't cheat yourself by not trying it. I had the Irish burger and fries. Burger was a good size with plenty of fries. Burger was juicy, the grilled onions tasted a little caramelized (if they weren't , the kitchen pulled off a really good imitation) and they don't skimp on the accoutrements. My friend had the gyro (having never had one before). Frank is my pal's new friend! And the price makes it taste better. Other diners included a good cross section of the city and everyone was friendly and chatting. Very neighborhoody which made the experience even better. Is this guy the only one who understands our economy?

Small family type diner. Great selection of middle eastern and American items. The platters are just great.
Everything is freshly prepared and the portions are very good.
This is a somewhat hidden gem but worth the trip if you've been craving reasonable good food
