Worst property with Wyndham’s name on it!

This hotel is a joke. I had a confirmed reservation and I get there with my children and am told that they have oversold the hotel by 16 rooms. The manager with blue hair wouldn’t even come speak to me he instead went off to his room to sleep. Another customer right after me came in and oh she was told there were four rooms left? She got checked in and the lady was even rude to her but she at least got a room. I asked for the managers number and I was given an incorrect number. That is the only reason I went back inside. Little did I know the lady was letting others stay! This hotel shouldn’t have the Wyndham name attached to it. I asked who the owner was and I was told the Nations. I asked the lady’s name at the front desk and was told Monica, I know that was a lie! Oh and I also have a video another customer took of the receptionist yelling at me! The Wyndham should be 100% ashamed of themselves.

If I hadn’t booked this with Priceline and I actually thought I might get a refund, I’d leave. Whoever gave this more than 1 star needs to get their eyes tested and might have lost their sense of smell from having Coronavirus. The pool is empty, the lobby looks post-apocalyptic, and I desperately wish that going to the front desk and saying something would actually do anything more than make me look like a “Karen”. This has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and considering that my parents stayed in Red Roof Inns back in the 80’s I think that is really saying something.

Breakfast was just ok, bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well! Lots of ice avaliable. We slept in and unfortunately missed breakfast the first morning. Had issues with the toilet and sink draining but no maintenance until 10am!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. When we checked into our room, the toilet wouldn't flush. When I went to talk to the lady at the front desk, she questioned me as if I was lying and I didn't know how to flush the toilet. I asked her if she would like to come take a look at it, she said "I can't, I'm working". When I asked for a different room, she said they were full and didn't have any more. I said that I need a refund then because I can't stay in a room without a functioning toilet. She then said she couldn't give me a refund. When I refused to stay in the room, she magically found another room. When I went to that room, it had someone else's bags in it! She then went and checked the room and came back and told me that nobody is in the room. I went up with her and showed her the other bags and she says "these aren't yours?". Of course they were ours, we had all of our bags with us as I went up and down the stairs over and over trying to just get another room!! Also, one of the bags in the room was obviously a small child's backpack and I did not have any small children with me! When I tried to just get her to listen to me, she kept talking over me and being very accusatory that it was my fault. We finally got another room, even though she said the hotel was fully booked.

We then asked for a third towel because there were 3 of us (which was disclosed on the booking). She hands us a hand towel. When we give it back and ask for a bath towel, she refuses saying that she doesn't have access to the bath towels. This was a blatant lie because the next morning we were able to get a bath towel from the other worker. He accessed the bath towel from the same room where she got the hand towel.

Finally, we wanted to go to the pool. We stopped at the front desk and asked if there were towels at the pool and were told that the pool was closed. There were no signs anywhere about the pool being closed. In fact, the only sign we saw about the pool listed the hours that the pool was open!

I will never stay at a Ramada again. You really need to teach your employees about customer service. The correct way to handle this situation would have been to immediately apologize for the non-functioning toilet and offer us another room. I do not appreciate essentially being called a liar and then being lied to.

I booked this hotel because of the pool and when I got there, it wasn’t working. Nowhere it said that. We ended up not staying, asked for a refund and we didn’t get it yet. Other than that, the receptionist was nice enough.

From beginning to end, this was an abysmal experience. I had stayed at the property 4 years earlier, and although the property was aging, it was still a reasonably clean and pleasant experience. No more. The property reeked of marijuana. The walls and ceiling the room were stained. There were no bath towels. The website and sign behind the front desk indicated there was a continental breakfast, but when morning rolled around, there was nothing, not even black coffee! I went to the front desk to ask, we received no apology, and even worse, the clerk was on the phone dropping F-bombs in front of us. Horrible stay. To top matters off, the stay was paid for with Wyndham points, however, the property charged my credit card anyways! Wyndham proved to be essentially useless on the follow up to reverse the charge. There is nothing redeeming about this property. Avoid!
