This is an awesome area to enjoy many different concerts from the Cleveland Orchestra to Country to Rock concerts. There is pavilion seating as well as lawn seating. The food and alcohol are expensive as most venues of this type but you can't beat a nice starry evening enjoying a concert. Sometimes a hike to get from the parking area but no cost unless you want.

The park is very nice but be ready for a hikefrom the parking areas. sound systems need a big upgrade and with ticket and food prices so high it should be upgraded. When I go out to see a concert I do not want someone coming up to me saying I can win a vacation or tickets, it is a scam to sell you a vacation package.

The park is beautiful so give yourself time to hike a day before the show. The venue is extremely difficult to leave with the traffic and the dark winding roads. The police do a good job with flares to mark the road, but still nerve racking. Don't have a beer at the show and plan to drive afterwards.

Pick your concert wisely. The sound system/pavilion does not seem to handle very loud bands well. We saw MatchBox 20 and Counting Crows. With seats in the pavilion, MB20 was audiable but we couldn't hear the words to any of Crows songs. And I'm hoping the person controling the video was a trainee. It was shot poorly. The camera never focused on anything longer than 30 seconds and sometimes focused on dark intruments that didn't have anyone playing them. I know why many people tailgate before the concert here. Beer at the venue is expensive and don't forget to count your change. Someone recommended spending an extra $20 for preferred parking. It was great advice. We were out of the park in 10 minutes, while others were still walking to the free parking lot.
