Saw reviews about Grandview and took a wild shot in booking directly through their official contact numbers on website. The royal suite room took us by surprise. It's humongous.
There is a huge living room accompanied by a very spacious bedroom, not to miss the oversized washroom with a jacuzzi. Icing on the cake was a running balcony to chill.
Apart the room, the property is well maintained and there are multiple activities happening that keep the guests engaged and entertained.
Five things special about grandview:
1. Very humble staff, always goes the extra mile to keep you happy
2. Radhika the owner and Rana the manager, make it a point to engage with each of the guests and make sure their happiness quotient is 500%
3 . They love kids
4. Wonderful buffet, choices for everyone.
5. Rates are super reasonable for the experience you get, including tariff and extra meals apart you breakfast and dinner.

We checked in on 17th June and were welcomed with a drink. We were tired when we entered the room but when we opened the curtains there was a splendid view .Am uploading a couple of pics from our room. Room 303 to be precise. The hotel offered us a buffet breakfast and dinner with our stay. Theres plenty of variety unlike our stay in DHARAMSHALA which I've reviewed previously. We had requested a room with a bathtub which the hotel obliged.
Ms. RADHIKA the owner came and checked on each of the guests during dinner which surprised me. She looked into every aspect during dinner ,be it service ,food, handling calls. Her attitude is reflected in her staff. The uniforms were crisply ironed and looked smart. The staff even wears their masks and does their best to make all guests comfortable. Though every staff here ,be it from reception , housekeeping or the restaurant were working hard towards making every guest feel special,I'd like to mention about Mr RANA the restaurant manager and the ever smiling and pleasant Mr SANJEEV. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
On our way to Dalhousie ,i had some street food which didn't quite agree with me. I requested for some ajwain and Ms Radhika got it specially roasted for me. I couldn't thank her then .
Since we had to check out before the breakfast buffet Mr Rana got us a sandwhich, 2 bananas and half a litre maaza packed . I had told him i just need tea in the morning .
At checkout they didn't charge me for the tea or the packed breakfast. This gesture may look small but it was huge for both of us.
If you are planning to come to this pristine , lazy , beautiful Dalhousie... Grand view can only make it better, i can vouch for them as long as radhika is overviewing things.

Best hotel in Dalhousie, best view, staff and food. 1.5 km away from mall road. Breakfast and dinner was included in package. Owner herself take reviews from all guests at dinner time. Food is really good.
