Location is great with the beach just meters away. The beach is sandy and almost a kilometer long. Room was spacious, very comfortable and looking much better than on the website. Friendly staff. And we were impressed by the Greek breakfast with home made and local product

We stayed in July for 4 nights and had a nicely renovated suite on the first level above the taverna. The room had a kitchenette and everything else you would need. Possibly it would have been nicer to stay on the upper level as you dont get the car park as part of your view. it was still a lovely view over the bay and across to Mykonos though. breakfast was really excellent with a lot of home made pastries, jams and very fresh fruits and greek yoghurts. The taverna offered home style cooking in the sense that the recipes were traditional, the flavours rich and wonderful but no particular fuss about presentation - perfect for a beach taverna really. The beach is excellent and the hotel has about 30 loungers or so with umbrellas and waiter service to bring you drinks from the bar. Swimming was fabulous and the beach was never crowded and then mostly Greek families which we figured was a good sign. The owner was very friendly and picked us up at the port and dropped us back again, answered all questions and needs. Overall a very good value and you felt like you were in Greece proper and not in a tourist location that had been 'adapted' for UK/US tourists. We loved it and would recommend it for a relaxing beach vacation perhaps in combination with somewhere more well known and Athens for the perfect combo.

Cavos Hotel is literally the place I grew up in. I could not be more satisfied by its overall services. The staff is more than friendly and they are always willing to make the best out of your stay.

A car is most likely required if you are planning to see the entire island, although everything is already provided there.
The food is homemade and delicious, including varied daily menus. I would highly recommend tasting it.
As far as the beach in front of the hotel is concerned, it offers a very calm and serene experience, despite the occasional windy days.
Overall, my stays have always been truly amazing! I can't wait to go again next year!

My wife and I spent a few days here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. They upgraded us to a perfectly lovely and very spacious bungalow with a gorgeous view of the sea off the balcony. Stelios and the entire staff couldn't have been more gracious. (At the end Stelios drove us to port in town to catch our ferry back to Athens.) There is a little restaurant attached, and though the menu is small, everything we had was delicious, especially the zucchini pies and eggplant soufflé! Strong winds in August are an issue, but when they are gentle the beach is wonderful, sandy and clean and NO MUSIC! :)

Lots of young families, ideal for quiet vacation on the beach, emphasis on quiet. We wished we had brought some of our kids.

Hagios Sostis is a bit isolated so good to have a car if you want to see other parts of Tinos. (Though there is a bus into Tinos town every two hours, and from there you can get a bus most anywhere.) We wd *definitely* stay again, though maybe not in August so as to avoid the winds.

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in Greece. Great location. In front of Cavos there is a wonderful small church, and a beach with a private area for hotel residents. The breakfast was unic and homemade. The hotel restaurant is superb and good value for money .All the food is home-cooked and delicious. The rooms are spacious, and include a kitchen. Moreover, the service is really good, and everyone at the hotel is so nice! All-in-all, it is a very relaxing and enjoyable . Cavos is very warm the people who work and maintain the studios are very friendly and really make you feel at home.
I cannot recommend a better place to stay in Tinos.
We'll definitely be going back. quiet, with amazing view and wonderful staff ! 100 percent recommended!.
