We visited here today 15 Oct 17 with other family members and had a very tasty light lunch. The staff are very friendly and will make adjustments to the menu if required. It's nice to see that they will provide small portions off the menu for children, rather than the usual junk food like chicken nuggets etc. We had a variety of food from the menu, from toasted sandwiches, ploughmans and soup. All were very nice and the accompanying side salads were very fresh with a nice dressing. I had the home made crumble and custard for sweet and a pot of tea to follow. Great, we will be back.

Have been visiting here for Afternoon Tea regularly this Summer past. Situated on the edge of Dunwich Forest (Ideal Walks and space for children) Sheltered sunny spot, where you order your fare and retire to your chosen table. A delightful waitress will then bring your tray...Pot of Tea and Pasteries /or a Strawberry and cream Tea. Scrummy! Arrive early and a ,light. lunch is available: Soup of the day..often very hot, so beware! Plus a hunk of bread etc.
From here, through a double ‘S’ bend is the old Church, and up the hill, the renowned ruined Monestery. They say on a rough day you can hear the bells ringing beneath the North Sea!
