Have been visiting Southwold for many years and this trip coincided with the lighthouse being open. A first class tour guide Jan - Excellent delivery, very knowledgeable and very interesting. It is well worth the 100 steps to the top - the views are fantastic and well worth the £4 entry fee. Highly recommended.

Visited Southwold coastal town. What a beautiful place. Lighthouse is in land in between house. You can only take a tour of the lighthouse at certain times of the day between 2-3pm. Well worth a look it’s amazibg

A wonderfully entertaining tour guide by the name of Tim took us up to the top of Southwold Lighthouse - very interesting to learn of the history - thankyou so much, I would highly recommend to all! If you're in Southwold for a short while, this is an absolute must.

Spent the day wondering around Southwold, fish and chips from the little fish and chip shop very nice even served with chunks of lemon! Sat on the beach to eat no big sea gulls only a few polite turns who waited until we had finished. Finishing off with a trip to the top of the lighthouse great. over 100 stairs but well worth it. We learnt a lot and it is still working! Check web site only open certain days and times.
