Haven't been to a traditional family run restaurant in ages and this did not disappoint.

Excellent lobster ravioli, best ever tasted. The service was fun and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.

Wish i lived nearer to visit more often, great night was had with friends. All 4 agreed great Italian food. 100% worth a visit.

We got there early on a Friday before a show at the cliffs. Parking in the Cliffs car park was easy and it was a short walk to the restaurant. The welcome was warm and sincere and we were shown to our seats and offered drinks. It's a lovely restaurant with views over the estuary but the food is genuinely awesome Italian. The calamari was divine and my Gamberini Peri Peri was melt in the mouth gorgeous. Extensive wine menu, good Italian beers and an equally impressive dessert menu made this a real treat for all of us!

Came here about 10 years ago and wasn't sure if it was still as nice as I remembered and it was. the staff were lovely and welcoming and even gave us sweets as we left. Will definitely be returning

My daughter and I visited Piccolo for a pre theatre meal and this is a restaurant that really believes in 'packing them in'.
Tables are so close together that the waiters backside is in your face when he served the tables either side. I find this unacceptable and annoying that I have to avoid a backside.
Unfortunately the food isn't very good either. I had the calves liver which tasted and looked as if it had been boiled and my daughter had carbonara with cheap stringy chicken. We couldn't get out quickly enough. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxed meal with good food.

Our 2nd visit here and so glad we came back.
As usual it was lively and full of people chatting away.
It was busy and we were taken to our table facing out towards the restaurant.
We ordered our usual garlic bread starter and calamari and was given some excellent guidance from the owner/manager?
Hubby opted for the seafood pasta
And i had the same but with a creamy sauce (not on menu).
It came up very hot and absolutely delicious.
I really enjoyed mine.
At the end of our meal we were offered a drink from management which is a nice touch.
We had a quick chatter with the staff and left for the night.
Another great night and the food as always is fabulous. A great atmosphere.
