Just gonna leave a quick review Ben for how helpful and nice he was when we arrived, we also booked the wrong date and he happily changed it for us which really made both of our days as we traveled so far. Top man

Stayed here for quite a lengthy visit so took advantage of most things with the exception of the restaurant and gym ! On the whole I had a very pleasant stay here, the room was very comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping were excellent with the room being thoroughly cleaned every day and all supplies replenished. I must point out the high quality of the breakfast provided, very good selection on offer, the cooked part was fresh and tasty and there was plenty of choice for all. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, the scaffolding was still up but that didn’t really bother me however the car parking is something which could be improved but how they go about this I do not know. Also, as a suggestion maybe a discount for long stay visitors for the charge for parking, £40 for 5 days can sting a bit, I was there for 10 so it really hurt ! However, would I stay here again ? Absolutely, enjoyed my time here and will recommend to friends and family if visiting Salford

Room tip: Parking is first come first served, if you go out for the evening by car you may not be able to park up again

Chefs recommend the rule of 3 when plating - 3 asparagus spears instead of 4, 3 broccoli florets etc., the AC Marriot at Salford Quays has decided to apply the rule of 3 to pillow supply.

A small double bed with 3 pancakesque pillows for two people
made for a terrible nights sleep. I enquired at reception about an additional pillow (or even a cushion) but unfortunately this outlandish request was met with an unfortunate no.

Weathered furniture, skimpy supplies (they used the rule of 2 when supplying tea bags) and the aforementioned view of cold steel all led me to the conclusion I wouldn’t return until their offerings are improved.

Please note that 3 pillows is an AC Hotel Brand standard but we have taken this feedback and made the necessary changes to ensure our guests are comfortable during their time with us and there will now be 4 pillows in every room. We are 100% committed to ensuring our guests are comfortable during their stay and so we are also committed to making any adjustments to guarantee a relaxing visit. I apologise for any discomfort this caused you.

We have been in the process of making many improvements at the hotel over the past year including both our exterior and interior. We have replaced the furniture in many of the rooms that may have had general wear and tear and I'm sure you will be impressed with the upgrades of AC hotel.

We hope you decide to revisit us in the future so that we may show you all of the ways we intend to make sure your stay with us is one to remember.

Had a one night stay at the hotel. Easy check in with a very friendly reception guy. Explained everything re the hotel and surrounding area to us. Our room was No720. A decent size room and bathroom all very modern and spotlessly clean. Free drinks in the fridge and coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast the following morning was excellent. About 15 to 20 minutes walk down to the Salford Quays. Would have given the hotel five stars but there was one big negative and that was the bed. It was rock hard and the pillows were like putting your head on a bag of potatoes. We have visited many hotels around the world but this was definitely the hardest. A really lovely hotel that I would recommend to everyone if they got some mattress toppers.

Nice hotel short 20 Min walk into media city
Lovely friendly front desk staff Ben & Patrick. Nice buffet breakfast great location on the fringes of media city with east access info Manchester City. Reasonably priced.
