Description: We are a friendly, family owned freehouse and restaurant with 10 letting rooms on the south of the Isle of Wight. We are popular with locals, families, walkers and cyclists and anyone that enjoys fantastic views. We are near Blackgang Chine (Britains oldest theme park) and are a convenient mid-way stop for those traversing the Island either clockwise or anticlockwise. We have a large south facing garden with outdoor play equipment for the children and plenty of seating for lazy sunny days looking out across the water. If it rains we have lots of tables inside too with log fires in winter.

Could not fault this place! Cosy and clean with friendly staff, great food and all at an affordable price. Icing on the cake is that they accept well behaved dogs! We will be back! Thank You Wight Mouse Inn! X

We booked at short notice for a table of 7 and there was something for everyone on the menu. The food is very good pub food, well presented and generous portions. The staff were helpful and service was good.

There dining room is laid out with lots of nooks and crannies so you don’t feel like you are sitting on top of everyone else. It has an old pub atmosphere, snug and warm, but delivers in modern pub dining standards.

Great family dining experience. Recommend booking to be sure to get a table and avoid disappointment. The owner used to run the Folly at Whippingham. (The Folly’s loss). Wish you did crew pots like you used to do at the Folly.

Thank you Wight Mouse Inn.

Very nice pub, ate there a couple of weeks ago in a large group (10+) having done the same last year with the same group on a previous weekend break on the island. Very good on both occasions. Super friendly service, generous portions, good quality food especially the Sunday roasts and burgers, and good choice for kids. Didnt break the bank either. Do book especially on the weekend as even out of season it gets very busy. Well it would, it's very good! The garden is huge and there is a sea view, just about. Would definitely return.

We stayed for one night while touring the Isle of Wight on our tuk tuk. The Wight Mouse offers ample parking, a large pub and dining area with plenty of tables, amazing food, a great selection of drinks and beautiful rooms. We had a warm welcome from Andy, Cheryl and their team and our room was beautiful - freshly decorated and very clean with wonderful views of the Needles.
We had lunch (hot & crispy seafood platter) and dinner (pork ribs and pheasant) and our room included a cooked breakfast. All the food was perfectly cooked, well presented and tasted delicious. It wasn’t expensive for the quality or quantity and the service was great.
The pub also has a variety of bar games and entertainment such as pool, foosball, giant connect 4 and arcade games - plenty to keep you busy for a few hours while you chill out, enjoy the views and sample the drinks!
Our room was comfortable, warm and with decent tea/coffee facilities and a nice new bathroom - it was the perfect stay!
