This is a superb pub with a wonderful atmosphere, beams, fires and fabulous food. I cannot fault the service or any aspect and it is a favourite pub as it is consistently superb.

First visit to this wonderful country pub that's has lots of awards and we can see why as this very old building with lots of friendly and helpful service from m the team. Great choice of food but a Sunday roast and the excellent vegetables are recommended and a pint of Harvey's.
Probably nice in the summer in the very large garden.
It's a must try.

This pub has grown and grown and grown and on a busy Summer day can be very busy. Prefer eating in the bar rather than restaurant, good main menu and bar menu, well kept beer and wine list

Had the best Sunday roast pork today, very moorish and desert to die for, sticky toffee pudding, very yummy. Lovely atmosphere and staff very attentive. Definitely be back soon.

My boyfriend and I called in here one Sunday on the off chance of a table. We were lucky to find at a table in the bar area, right by the fire which was great after a wintery walk. Sausage and mash ordered and delivered to the table...very tasty and the gravy was out of this world! Puddings to follow which were equally delicious. We will be back!
