Saw mixed reviews so was concerned about whether should have booked or not. Need not have worried. Full menu and choice of 3 roasts available on a Sunday lunchtime. It does seem expensive for a roast at £13 or £ 14 but when they brought it out could see why. Huge portion came with roast and new potatoes about 5 different veg. As well being able to have roast others had the full rack of ribs, fish and chips , the pie so nice variety. The staff were v.good too.

Thank 100Shelly

Having walked past this pub many times, we met friends there who had ordered lunch, I have to say this is a hidden gem, our friends food arrived and looked really appetising, I checked the menu out and will definitely be visiting some time soon. The inside has a lovely open fire, perfect for our rubbish weather days, nice little nooks for private dining and a garden to the rear.
Pop in and give it a go.

We visited The Limes with some friends after attending a talk at the Faversham Literary festival. The pub was busy and we had seen good pictures of the roasts online. What we were served as roasts looked nothing like the pictures online and certainly didn’t justify the close to £15 price tag. 6 frozen roast dinners with boil in the bag vegetables to share. Everything was bland and tasteless, the meat was thin slices that had clearly come from a frozen pack. The Yorkshire puddings- small uniform discs were the same. As were the potato WEDGES we were served as roasties. Nothing had been made fresh on site. 3 people in our group had the nut roast and were served a frozen veggie burger. There were no nuts to be found in it! Worse than the quality of the food was the service when we complained. We politely asked to see the manager and were refused this option. When we asked if this was the normal roast as it was very different to pics on the website, staff just said they didn’t know and had never served the beef before (!) The rudeness with which we were spoken to, on top of being served sub standard food was appalling. The manager’s subsequent refusal to speak to our group about our experience was unacceptable. The Limes does not deserve your custom!

Visited last year & was overcharged for two meals but hadn't realised until I had left the pub so that was partly my fault. Today we thought we would give them another chance. Hadn't booked as decided on the spur of the moment to go out for Sunday lunch. Arrived at the pub at 1pm asked if there was a table for two & was told not at the moment but have a drink & I'll call when ones available. Had our drinks & sat for 40 minutes waiting. People after us were having their names taken. We finished our drink & went elsewhere.

We appreciate your comments as repeat customers, I am very sorry for the wait but as one Know The Limes was very busy on Sunday with our Sunday roast as it is one of our popular in Faversham, as we are still improving our table bookings and find tables for everyone coming in.

I can only at this stage apologize and very much regret the inconvenience that you and your family suffered.

Meanwhile I assure you of our best attention

With kindest regards,

Management
