We took my godmother here for an afternoon treat and what a treat it was. We had the Winston Churchill afternoon tea and it was lovely!

The decor, the music, the atmosphere, the way the ladies were dressed just completed the experience.

They were both very friendly and accommodating to my 18 month old baby too.

I thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

We went for a Winston Churchill afternoon tea last week and was impressed! The food was plentiful and delicious, all home made. Refills of tea were offered. The cafe is small but really nice, set in the 1940's, it felt very authentic. Loved the "ration book menu"and old newspapers. Staff were very friendly and attentive, highly recommended.

Called in on the off chance for a cuppa with my daughter and ended up staying for a cream tea. Bargain for £5 too. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Small but perfectly formed cafe. Styled in the 1940's with a real authentic look and food that matches the period. First impressions are of a warm and friendly cafe with two very helpful and friendly staff. We called in by chance for lunch and were certainly not disappointed - the menu is comprehensive and tailored to the period even the menu's are retro styled. The bacon sandwiches were great and coffee cake delicious. Scones looked wonderful too so will need to return. Probably worth booking.

This is a step back into the land of High Tea, all so authentic, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Herne Bay is changing and this cafe is part of a new move to offer a step back into a comforting experience, when things were done well with creativity and care!!
