“Absolutely perfect - in every single way!”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We have just returned from a week long stay in this stunning apartment situated in Westbrook Bay, Margate. This apartment is simply perfect. It is to a very high standard in terms of condition, decor, facilities and location. Unlike other places we have stayed in before it certainly matches the description and photos as advertised.

The apartment has all the mod cons you need to make your stay more comfortable with the added bonus of a Wii with plenty of games and a large choice of children's DVDs for those with young families. To the front of the apartment there is a large communal courtyard and to the rear there is a very large private-use terrace with far reaching sea views, on a good night the sunsets are just amazing.

The apartment is less than a 5 minute walk to Westbrook Bay which is a lovely long sandy beach that is manned by lifeguards and also has a great cafe and a mini/crazy golf course that we all loved. Less than 10 minutes walk along the promenade is Margate beach which has all of the above together with a small selection of children's rides (boat swings, bouncy castles etc) and the good old fashioned amusement arcades. A few minutes on from that you will find yourself in the old town and at the steps that lead to the Turner Contemporary which is definitely worth a visit.

Forget any pre-conceptions you have of Margate - the cobbled streets of the old town are fantastic. It has a really vintage/retro feel to it with wonderful boutique shops and little unique eateries - we loved the Cupcake Cafe. There is a real sense of community spirit in the old town and most weekends in the summer there seems to be something going on to entertain the visitors.

If you want to venture further afield then other seaside towns such as Broadstairs and Ramsgate are just a short journey away and worth a visit if you have the time.

Back to the apartment - the owners are lovely and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Booking was very easy and communications quick. We will definitely be returning to this apartment and to Margate again and can't recommend either enough.

“A fabulous week away”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We spent a wonderful week at this apartment and can not praise the facilities enough! The apartment is presented to a very high standard with everything possibly needed to enjoy a relaxing family holiday! There is so much to do in and around Margate, we loved the retro shops, the stunning sandy beaches and the various restaurants situated around The Turner Contemporary.
A real treat at the end of every fun packed day was the sunset on the apartments very large terrace, Just stunning!
Looking forward to going back next year.

“The perfect apartment, in the best location.”
Reviewed 1 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We had a lovely holiday. Great weather and good apartment.
First visit to Kent and no need to travel far, for lots of things to do.
Really enjoyed walking along the sea front, the prom goes for miles around the coast.

“Excellent Appartment and Owner”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

I stayed at the appartment with my daughter and her 2 children aged 7 and 5.
We all enjoyed our holiday despite the weather.
Cortney has supplied everything you could need for children. There is a large number of childrens dvd's which the children loved to watch sitting on the double bed in the main bedroom (leaving us adults to watch the television in peace), there were toys and pens and paper and a Wii which they loved.
Everything was walkable from the appartment so you did not need to use the car, there are a number of shops and food outlets just across the road. There is a sandy beach just at the back of the appartment which is manned by life guards and it is just a short walk to the main Margate beach and all that Margate has to offer.
I would highly recommend staying at the appartment and have already re-booked for our August 2014 holiday.

“HUGE thumbs up!!”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

I'm not one to normally write reviews but I felt compelled to do so after our lovely stay at this wonderful family friendly apartment. Not only was this accommodation spotlessly clean it was well equipped with everything a family would need for an enjoyable break away (including some complimentary grocery essentials!) The outside area...which had ample seating & dining furniture has a beautiful view over Westbrook bay & we were fortunate enough to have a couple of pleasant evenings (even in April) to watch the sun go down over the bay glass of wine in hand :)
The location for us as a family couldn't have been more perfect...right by the lovely sandy beach & long wide promenade which was great for my son as he had just learned to ride his bike. In one direction you can walk for miles enjoying the vast coastline & in the other direction just a short walk along the prom is Margate with some lovely independent shops & cafés in the 'Old Town' & traditional seaside amusements for the children. We also had a very enjoyable trip to The Turner Contemporary where not only did we enjoy the Art on display but there were art & craft activities laid on for the children to take part in :))
All in all it was a truly wonderful holiday where lots of lovely memories were made...my daughter even cried when we got home because she loved it so much!
We will, without a shadow of a doubt be returning to Royal Seabathing.....HUGE thumbs up!!!!
