Jaipur isn't the best Indian dining experience we've had but for a local Indian restaurant on your doorstep it's defo worth a visit! We decided to nip out rather than get a takeaway and the restaurant inside is homely enough and was busy so a good vibe about the place! The waiters are pkeadabt enough although we did feel one of our waiters really rushed us when taking our order; I think this had something to do with how busy their take out service is as to be fair to the staff the never stop! We ordered a mixed starter for two which consisted of a pakora, bhaji, chicken tikka and shami kebab. The pakora was quite soggy and the bhaji was under cooked and greasy but on the whole a decent enough starter. The popadoms don't come with a higher selection of dips but again it's decent enough quality for the money. Our mains were very good on the other hand: we had a chicken tikka Rogan josh and my partner had madras. Both were excellent. The garlic nan was also delicious. The mains defo stole the show for us and the portion size was just enough rather than being served huge overfacing portions you always end up wasting. We paid about £46 and we had two rounds of drinks with that. We defo return!
