After walking 5.5 miles along the Tolkien Trail, a bustling cafe serving takeaway lattes and toasties was a very welcome find.

Great food in this comfy cafe with friendly service. Absolutely recommend their crumpets and jam, and chocolate yum yum pudding!

What a treat!!!! Beautifully cooked food .... gluten free option ... the best cheese pie I’ve ever tasted followed by superb gf scone.... great to find somewhere at last where the gluten free option amounts to more than a cello wrapped brownie! This place deserves a Michelin star for their array of fabulous foods and service ... what a find !!!!

Been here before but called recently after deciding to go for a walk up at Hurst Green with my sister. We decided to call for a snack. When we went in my sister noticed game casserole on the specials menu. We couldn’t resist. It was fantastic. Beautiful flavour and all cooked to perfection. The staff , owners and service are very friendly and humorous. After the walk we went back for tea and Home made custard tart which was amazing. A place I would always want to return to .
